Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan karakter gotong royong siswa melalui pembelajaran pencak silat berbasis media pop-up video. Desain penelitian menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) dengan pendekatan mixed method yang mengintegrasikan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 30 siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarunajaya. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengukur perkembangan karakter siswa. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan n-gain, sementara data kualitatif digunakan untuk memperkuat temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pop-up video efektif meningkatkan nilai-nilai gotong royong siswa. Skor rata-rata meningkat signifikan dari 9,1 pada pretest menjadi 16,0 pada posttest, dengan peningkatan rata-rata 75,82%. Uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai p < 0,000, menandakan perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Analisis n-gain dengan rata-rata 0,68 mengindikasikan efektivitas sedang hingga tinggi. Selain itu, observasi menunjukkan peningkatan interaksi sosial, kerja sama, dan sikap saling membantu di antara siswa setelah intervensi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran pencak silat berbasis media pop-up video mampu memperkuat karakter gotong royong siswa. Metode ini juga relevan dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, terutama dalam membangun solidaritas dan kerja sama. Hasil ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pendidik untuk menggunakan media inovatif dalam pembelajaran karakter, khususnya di tingkat sekolah dasar. The research design uses the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) with a mixed method approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative data. The subjects of the study involved 30 students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarunajaya. The research instruments in the form of questionnaires, observations, and documentation were used to measure the development of students' character. Quantitative data were analyzed using paired sample t-test and n-gain tests, while qualitative data were used to strengthen the findings. The results showed that pop-up video media was effective in increasing students' mutual cooperation values. The average score increased significantly from 9.1 in the pretest to 16.0 in the posttest, with an average increase of 75.82%. The paired sample t-test showed a p value <0.000, indicating a significant difference between before and after the intervention. The n-gain analysis with an average of 0.68 indicated moderate to high effectiveness. In addition, observations showed an increase in social interaction, cooperation, and mutual assistance among students after the intervention. This study concluded that the pop-up video media-based pencak silat learning approach was able to strengthen students' mutual cooperation character. This method is also relevant to the Pancasila Student Profile, especially in building solidarity and cooperation. These results provide recommendations for educators to use innovative media in character learning, especially at the elementary school level.
