Abstract
Menurut Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 111 Tahun 2014 tentang bimbingan dan konseling, program layanan bimbingan dan konseling tidak akan dapat terselenggara dengan baik maupun mencapai tujuannya tanpa adanya sistem pengelolaan yang bermutu, yang dilaksanakan secara jelas, sistematis, dan terarah. Sistem informasi menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi tantangan pengelolaan laporan bimbingan dan konseling, sehingga mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMKN 1 Purwakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang, mengimplementasikan, dan menguji Sistem Informasi Manajemen Bimbingan dan Konseling (SIMBK) berbasis web di SMKN 1 Purwakarta. Proses penelitian meliputi studi literatur yang komprehensif, pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara, analisis kebutuhan sistem, pengembangan sistem, hingga tahap pengujian. Metode Extreme Programming dipilih karena mampu mendukung pengembangan perangkat lunak yang cepat dan adaptif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel dengan penerapan konsep Model-View-Controller (MVC) untuk memudahkan pengembangan berkelanjutan. Pengujian fungsionalitas sistem dilakukan dengan metode Black-box Testing, khususnya menggunakan pendekatan scenario-based. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dikembangkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pengelolaan laporan bimbingan dan konseling di SMKN 1 Purwakarta serta memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pengembangan sistem lebih lanjut. ----- According to the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 111 of 2014 concerning guidance and counseling, a guidance and counseling service program cannot be properly implemented nor achieve its objectives without a quality management system that is carried out clearly, systematically, and purposefully. Information systems serve as a solution to the challenges of managing guidance and counseling reports, thereby improving the quality of guidance and counseling services at SMKN 1 Purwakarta. This study aims to design, implement, and test a web-based Guidance and Counseling Management Information System (SIMBK) at SMKN 1 Purwakarta. The research process includes a comprehensive literature review, data collection through observation and interviews, system requirements analysis, system development, and testing. The Extreme Programming method was chosen for its ability to support rapid software development and adapt to changing requirements. The system was developed using the Laravel framework with the application of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) concept to facilitate sustainable development. System functionality testing was carried out using the Black-box Testing method, specifically employing a scenario-based approach. The research results indicate that the developed information system successfully meets the needs of managing guidance and counseling reports at SMKN 1 Purwakarta and provides a strong foundation for future system development.
