    Abstract

    Pergeseran peran perempuan dari ibu rumah tangga menjadi pencari nafkah utama semakin meluas di berbagai sektor. Dalam konteks ini, guru perempuan yang masih berstatus honorer menghadapi tantangan yang lebih kompleks. Mereka seringkali harus mengelola penghasilan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan keluarga, dan pada saat yang sama berjuang mempertahankan dedikasi mereka dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai pendidik. Beban ini sering kali diperkeruh dengan pandangan peran gender yang masih mengakar di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi sumber-sumber subjective well-being perempuan sebagai guru honorer yang menjadi pencari nafkah utama. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengalaman tiga guru perempuan di dua kota dengan latar belakang sosial dan demografi berbeda. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis data interaktif dari Carl. F. Auerbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber-sumber subjective well-being guru honorer dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang membuat guru merasa bahagia dan puas dalam hidupnya. Selain itu ditemukan juga faktor-faktor yang membuat guru honorer tersebut tidak mendapatkan subjective well-beingnya. Studi ini memberikan rekomendasi strategis seperti pelatihan manajemen waktu, dukungan psikologis, kebijakan kerja yang fleksibel, dan layanan dukungan pemerintah. Temuan ini memperkaya wacana akademis tentang subjective well-being dari perspektif gender, sekaligus memberikan dasar untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam konteks sosial dan ekonomi yang berbeda.
    The shift in women's roles from housewife to primary breadwinner is becoming more widespread in various sectors. In this context, honorary teachers face more complex challenges. They often have to manage their income to meet the needs of their families, while at the same time struggling to maintain their commitment to their roles as educators. This burden is often compounded by entrenched views of gender roles in society. This study aims to explore the sources of subjective well-being of women honorary teachers who are the primary breadwinners. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, this study explored the experiences of three female teachers in two cities with different social and demographic backgrounds. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using Carl. F. Auerbach's interactive data analysis method. The results showed that the sources of subjective well-being of honorary teachers are influenced by various factors that make teachers feel happy and satisfied with their lives. In addition, there are also factors that make honorary teachers fail to achieve their subjective well-being. This study provides strategic recommendations such as time management training, psychological support, flexible work policies, and government support services. The findings enrich the academic discourse on subjective well-being from a gender perspective, while providing a basis for further research in different social and economic contexts.
