Abstract
Guru profesional harus menguasai kompetensi guru yang terdiri dari kompetensi pedagodik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial dan kompetensi profesional. Idealnya guru memenuhi keompetnsi tersebut dengan 100%, tetapi guru juga manusia biasa yang tidak sempurna. Persepsi siswa terhadap kinerja guru merupakan salah satu cara mengetahui ketercapaian kompetensi guru menurut persepsi siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 91 responden siswa kelas XI jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Negeri 6 Kuningan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitiaan ini yaitu dengan menggunakan angket yang ditujukan kepada siswa untuk mendapatkan data mengenai persepsi siswa terhadap kinerja guru. Hasil pengolahan, analisis, dan pengujian data maka diperoleh hasil persepsi siswa terhadap kinerja guru kompetensi profesional pada pelajaran pemelihraan baterai di SMK Negeri 6 Kuningan sebagai berikut: (1) 55,84% (sebagian besar) siswa mempersepsi baik; (2) 21,29% (sebagian kecil) siswa mempersepsi cukup; (3) 20,19% (sebagian kecil) siswa mempersepsi sangat baik; (4) 2,47% (sebagian kecil) siswa mempersepsi kurang; (5) 0,21% (sebagian kecil) siswa mempersepsi sangat kurang. Guru dan pihak sekolah harus sama-sama meningkatkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas faktor pendukung yang menunjang ketercapaian kompetensi guru. Professional teachers must master teacher competency comprising pedagodik competence, personal competence, social competence and professional competence. Ideally, the teacher meets with a 100 % keompetnsi, but teachers also ordinary people who are not perfect. Students' perception of the performance of teachers is one way to determine the achievement of competence of teachers according to student perceptions. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach. The study was conducted on 91 students of class XI respondents Light Vehicle Engineering department at SMK Negeri 6 Kuningan. Collecting data in this penelitiaan is by using a questionnaire addressed to the students to obtain data on student perceptions of teacher performance. The results of the processing, analysis, and testing of the data of the obtained results on the performance of the teacher student 's perception of professional competence in the subject in battery maintenance lessons in SMK Negeri 6 Kuningan as follows: (1) 55.84 % (most ) students perceive good; (2) 21.29 % (fraction) students perceive enough; (3) 20.19 % (fraction) students perceive very well; (4) 2.47% (fraction) students perceive less; (5) 0.21 % (fraction) of students perceiving very less. Teachers and schools should be equally increase the quality and quantity of the supporting factors that support the achievement of the competence of teachers .
