Abstract
Keluarga merupakan salah satu agen sosialisasi yang paling penting dalam mengajarkan anggota-anggotanya mengenai aturan-aturan yang diharapkan oleh masyarakat. Kemampuan keluarga mengendalikan individu secara terus menerus, merupakan kekuatan sosial yang tidak dapat ditemukan pada lembaga lainnya. Oleh karena itu kepatuhan-kepatuhan masyarakat dalam menjalankan protokol kesehatan COVID-19 sangat dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan sosial dalam keluarga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas bagaimana pola komunikasi keluarga yang dilakukan dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan COVID-19 di keluarga tenaga kesehatan (Nakes) dan teknik persuasif yang digunakannya. Nakes seperti dokter atau perawat memiliki kecakapan yang baik mengenai penerapan protokol kesehatan COVID-19 sehingga dapat secara baik menerapkan dan mempromosikan kesehatan kepada keluarganya. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan menganalisis pola komunikasi keluarga dan strategi komunikasi persuasif yang dilakukan oleh anggota keluarga mengenai penerapan protokol kesehatan COVID-19. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nakes sangat berperan penting dalam keluarganya untuk mengajak dan menerapkan protokol kesehatan dalam keluarganya. Pola komunikasi keluarga yang baik, memudahkan Nakes untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan kesehatan. Unsur-unsur persuasif yang digunakan oleh Nakes juga sudah terpenuhi sehingga dapat memberikan efek persuasif bagi anggota keluarga untuk menerapkan protokol kesehatan. A family is one of the most important socialization agents in educating its members about the rules expected by society. The ability of the family to control each member continuously is a social power that cannot be found in other organization. Therefore, a community compliance in implementing COVID-19 health protocol is strongly influenced by social power in the family. The purpose of this study is to discuss how a family communication pattern is carried out in the implementation of the COVID-19 health protocol in the family of health workers (Nakes) and the persuasive techniques applied. The health workers, such as doctors or nurses, have excellent skills on the implementation of the COVID-19 health protocol so that they can properly implement and promote health to their families. This study used a qualitative method by analyzing family communication pattern and persuasive communication strategy conducted by family members on the implementation of the COVID-19 health protocol. The results showed that the health workers played an important role in their families to encourage their family members in implementing health protocols. A good family communication pattern made it easier for the health workers to convey any health messages. The persuasive elements used by the health workers have also been fulfilled, which led to a persuasive effect on their family members in implementing the health protocols.
