Abstract

Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya pro dan kontra terkait penggunaan chatbot berbasis AI. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya penulis belum menemukan adanya penelitian lebih mendalam mengenai bagaimana penerimaan guru terhadap chatbot berbasis AI di sekolah dasar. Namun adanya perdebatan mengenai penggunaan chatbot berbasis AI baik di salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang melarang penggunaan chatbot ataupun di suatu negara yang memberhentikan penggunaan salah satu chatbot, pemanfaatan dalam penggunaan chatbot berbasis AI khususnya di sekolah dasar patut untuk ditinjau lebih dalam. Alasan penelitian ini dilakukan ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana chatbot berbasis AI dapat mengurangi beban guru dalam pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, serta teknik analisis data yang diusung oleh Nasution (2023). Partisipan yang digunakan ialah 13 guru dari SD Negeri Pasanggrahan I, serta uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara diperoleh data sebanyak 61,5% guru yang diwawancarai telah menggunakan chatbot berbasis AI sebagai asisten guru untuk membantu membuat perangkat pembelajaran. Adanya chatbot berbasis AI ini memberikan potensi positif khususnya bagi guru-guru dalam membantu membuat perangkat pembelajaran baik sebagai referensi pembuatan soal, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), modul ajar, ide menarik, media informasi, dan sebagai alat bantu tugas pribadi. Mayoritas guru-guru pengguna chatbot di SD Negeri Pasanggrahan I menggunakan jenis chatbot yang familiar seperti Chat GPT, Gemini, dan Question AI. Dengan adanya chatbot ini guru-guru khusunya pengguna chatbot sangat terbantu dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran. This research is motivated by the pros and cons regarding the use of AI-based chatbots. Based on previous research, the author has not found any in-depth research on how teachers accept AI-based chatbots in elementary schools. However, with the debate regarding the use of AI-based chatbots, both in an educational institution that prohibits the use of chatbots or in a country that stops the use of one of the chatbots, the use of AI-based chatbots, especially in elementary schools, deserves to be reviewed more deeply. The reason this research was conducted was to find 1 out how AI-based chatbots can reduce the burden on teachers in making learning tools in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study design, data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation studies, as well as data analysis techniques carried out by Nasution (2023). The participants used were 13 teachers from Pasanggrahan I Public Elementary School, and the data validity test in this study used source triangulation and technique triangulation techniques. Based on the interviews, data were obtained that 61.5% of the teachers interviewed had used AI-based chatbots as teacher assistants to help create learning tools. The existence of this AI-based chatbot provides positive potential, especially for teachers, in helping to create learning tools, both as a reference for making questions, Student Work Sheets (LKPD), teaching modules, interesting ideas, information media, and as a personal task tool. The majority of chatbot user teachers at Pasanggrahan I Elementary School use familiar types of chatbots such as Chat GPT, Gemini and Question AI. With this chatbot, teachers, especially chatbot users, are greatly assisted in making learning tools.
