Abstract

Pemecahan masalah merupakan aspek fundamental dalam matematika. Proses pembelajaran matematika pada hakikatnya adalah proses pembelajaran pemecahan masalah. Selain itu, pembelajaran matematika seharusnya tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga menumbuhkan disposisi matematika. Faktanya, studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti menunjukan bahwa bahan ajar yang menjadi pegangan bagi peserta didik belumlah cukup untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan disposisi matematika pada materi bilangan pecahan. Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis liveworksheets yang dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan disposisi matematika peserta didik, khususnya pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan pecahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Educational Design Research (EDR), dengan hasil bahan ajar yang memiliki struktur sebagai berikut: (1) halaman depan/sampul; (2) daftar isi; (3) halaman tujuan pembelajaran; (4) halaman yang memaparkan langkah-langkah pemecahan masalah menurut Polya, (5) video demonstrasi pemecahan masalah dengan pendekatan Polya, (6) halaman contoh penyelesaian soal matematika, (7) halaman latihan terbimbing, (8) halaman latihan kelompok, dan (9) rangkuman materi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi oleh para ahli menggunakan instrumen penilaian LORI (Learning Object Review Instrument) versi 2.0, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak secara keseluruhan dan bahan ajar pemecahan masalah secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan disposisi matematika peserta didik. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai rata-rata hasil tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test), dimana nilai rata-rata post-test (3.18) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test (1.78) menjadikan bahan ajar ini dikatakan efektif. Problem solving is a fundamental aspect of mathematics. The process of learning mathematics is essentially a problem-solving learning process. In addition, mathematics learning should not only focus on cognitive aspects, but also foster mathematical dispositions. In fact, a preliminary study conducted by researchers showed that the teaching materials that are used as a reference for students are not enough to improve problem-solving abilities and mathematical dispositions in fractional number material. The purpose of the study was to develop teaching materials based on liveworksheets that can be an effective solution to improve students' problem-solving abilities and mathematical dispositions, especially in the addition and subtraction of fractional numbers. This study used the Educational Design Research (EDR) method, with the results of teaching materials having the following structure: (1) front page/cover; (2) table of contents; (3) learning objectives page; (4) page explaining the steps for solving problems according to Polya, (5) demonstration video of problem solving with Polya's approach, (6) page of examples of solving mathematical problems, (7) guided practice page, (8) group practice page, and (9) summary of the material. Based on the evaluation results by experts using the LORI (Learning Object Review Instrument) version 2.0 assessment instrument, the developed teaching materials were declared feasible overall and the problem-solving teaching materials can significantly improve students' problem-solving abilities and mathematical dispositions. This is evidenced by the significant difference between the average scores of the initial test results (pre-test) and the final test (post-test), where the average post-test score (3.18) is higher than the average pre-test score (1.78) making this teaching material effective.
