Abstract

Kemacetan di Jalan Raya Puncak Cianjur–Bogor telah menjadi permasalahan serius yang berdampak pada peningkatan waktu tempuh, polusi udara, serta risiko kecelakaan lalu lintas. Konsep Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) diterapkan untuk mengoptimalkan kebijakan transportasi yang ada dengan pendekatan berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kawasan potensial untuk pengembangan TOD melalui analisis spasial. Metode yang digunakan adalah Spatial Analysis, yang mengkaji dan memvisualisasikan pengaruh area di sekitar stasiun atau noda transportasi. Variabel penelitian mencakup tingkat kemacetan lalu lintas dan enam prinsip TOD. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa seluruh blok di sepanjang Jalan Puncak Cianjur–Bogor belum memenuhi standar minimum TOD sebesar 56 poin untuk dikategorikan sebagai TOD Bronze. Namun, ditemukan lima dari 33 blok yang memiliki potensi pengembangan TOD sementara lainnya memerlukan peningkatan signifikan. Kawasan ini berpotensi difungsikan sebagai kantong parkir (park and ride), memungkinkan wisatawan dari luar wilayah Puncak untuk memarkir kendaraan dan melanjutkan perjalanan menggunakan transportasi umum terintegrasi. Sistem ini berpotensi mengurangi kepadatan kendaraan pribadi, meningkatkan efisiensi perjalanan, serta mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Untuk optimalisasi TOD, diperlukan peningkatan konektivitas antar-mode, fasilitas pendukung, dan layanan transportasi. Dengan demikian, TOD di kawasan Puncak dapat menjadi solusi berkelanjutan dalam mengatasi kemacetan serta menciptakan sistem transportasi yang lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan. Congestion on the Cianjur-Bogor Puncak Highway has become a serious problem that has an impact on increasing travel time, air pollution, and the risk of traffic accidents. The concept of Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) is applied to optimize existing transportation policies with a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based approach. This research aims to identify potential areas for TOD development through spatial analysis. The method used is Spatial Analysis, which examines and visualizes the influence of areas around transportation stations or nodes. The research variables include the level of traffic congestion and the six TOD principles. The analysis shows that all blocks along Jalan Puncak Cianjur-Bogor have not met the minimum TOD standard of 56 points to be categorized as TOD Bronze. However, five out of 33 blocks were found to have TOD development potential while others require significant improvement. The area has the potential to function as a park-and-ride enclave, allowing tourists from outside the Puncak area to park their vehicles and continue their journey using integrated public transportation. This system has the potential to reduce private vehicle congestion, improve travel efficiency, and reduce environmental impacts. To optimize TOD, it is necessary to improve inter-model connectivity, supporting facilities, and transportation services. Thus, TOD in the Puncak area can be a sustainable solution in overcoming congestion and creating a more efficient and environmentally friendly transportation system.
