Abstract

Penerapan sistem modular pada desain ruang poliklinik menjadi solusi inovatif dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang fleksibel, efisien, dan fungsional di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang prototipe ruang poliklinik di Rumah Sakit Edelweiss Bandung dengan pendekatan sistem modular, yang efektif, efisien dan memungkinkan adaptasi terhadap kebutuhan operasional dan perubahan desain secara dinamis dengan fokus pada aspek kesehatan, keselamatan, dan kenyamanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara mendalam dengan para ahli di bidang kesehatan dan rumah sakit. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan ruang, identifikasi standar desain fasilitas kesehatan, serta penerapan prinsip modularitas pada perancangan ruang. Desain modular ini mempertimbangkan aspek ergonomi, efisiensi penggunaan lahan, kemudahan instalasi, dan estetika ruang Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem modular dapat mengoptimalkan tata letak ruang poliklinik, mempercepat proses pembangunan, serta memberikan fleksibilitas dalam penyesuaian ruang terhadap perkembangan layanan kesehatan di masa depan. Implementasi desain ini juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan kenyamanan pasien dan efisiensi kerja tenaga medis. Kesimpulannya, penerapan sistem modular pada desain ruang poliklinik di Rumah Sakit Edelweiss Bandung tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan fungsional, tetapi juga mendukung keberlanjutan dan inovasi dalam manajemen fasilitas kesehatan. Rekomendasi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut mencakup evaluasi implementasi prototipe dalam skala penuh dan analisis biaya-manfaat jangka panjang. The application of a modular system in polyclinic room design is an innovative solution in creating a flexible, efficient and functional environment in hospitals. This research aims to design a prototype polyclinic room at Edelweiss Hospital Bandung using a modular system approach, which is effective, efficient and allows adaptation to operational needs and dynamic design changes with a focus on health, safety and comfort aspects. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach using literature study methods, field observations, and in-depth interviews with experts in the health and hospital fields. The methodology used includes analysis of space requirements, identification of health facility design standards, and application of the principle of modularity in space design. This modular design considers aspects of ergonomics, land use efficiency, ease of installation, and spatial aesthetics Research findings show that a modular system can optimize the layout of polyclinic spaces, speed up the construction process, and provide flexibility in adapting space to future health service developments. The implementation of this design also contributes to increasing patient comfort and the work efficiency of medical personnel. In conclusion, the application of a modular system in the design of polyclinic rooms at Edelweiss Hospital Bandung not only meets functional needs, but also supports sustainability and innovation in health facility management. Recommendations for further development include evaluation of full-scale implementation of the prototype and long-term cost-benefit analysis.
