Abstract
Belajar matematika secara efektif membutuhkan kemampuan berpikir secara logis. Kemampuan tersebut merupakan bagian integral dalam proses mencapai kesimpulan yang konsisten dengan menggunakan argumen logis dan prosedur yang sistematis. Namun, negara Indonesia tidak terlalu baik dalam hal ini. Kegagalan dalam mengkaji paradigma pembelajaran dan media interaktif yang mengutamakan keterlibatan siswa adalah akar permasalahannya. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengetahui apakah model Problem Based Learning yang memanfaatkan permainan kartu misteri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis matematis siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain Quasi Experimental tipe Non-Equivalent Control Group. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV yang berada di Kelurahan Tamansari. Sampel penelitian diambil dari SD N Tamansari 04 yang terletak di kelurahan ini, dengan 31 siswa Kelas IV A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 29 siswa Kelas IV B sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Nonprobability Sampling jenis Sampling Jenuh. Menurut data yang dikumpulkan, skor rata-rata kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 54,06 pada pre-test menjadi 84,00 pada post-test. Hasil dari Independent Samples T-Test menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan. Perolehan nilai sig. (2-tailed) dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Selain itu, rata-rata N-Gain Score lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Dari penelitian ini terlihat bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning dengan bantuan permainan kartu misteri dapat dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir logis matematis siswa. Learning mathematics effectively requires logical thinking skills. These skills are an integral part of the process of drawing consistent conclusions using logical arguments and systematic procedures. However, Indonesia does not perform well in this aspect. The failure to examine learning paradigms and interactive media that prioritize student engagement is the root cause of this issue. Therefore, this study focuses on determining whether the Problem-Based Learning model utilizing the mystery card game can enhance the mathematical logical thinking ability of fourth-grade elementary school students. The research employs a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental design of the Non-Equivalent Control Group type. The population in this study consists of fourth-grade students in Tamansari Village. The research sample was taken from SD N Tamansari 04, located in this village, with 31 students from Class IV A as the experimental group and 29 students from Class IV B as the control group. The sampling technique used was Nonprobability Sampling of the Saturation Sampling type. According to the collected data, the average score of the experimental class increased from 54.06 in the pre-test to 84.00 in the post-test. The results of the Independent Samples T-Test showed a highly significant difference. The sig. (2-tailed) value obtained from the experimental and control classes was 0.000 < 0.05. Additionally, the average N-Gain Score was higher in the experimental class than in the control group. This study demonstrates that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by the mystery card game has a positive and significant impact on improving students' mathematical logical thinking abilities.
