Abstract

Dalam realitas kehidupan saat ini, perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan dapat dirasakan dalam kesempatan, tanggung jawab, serta pengambilan keputusan dalam keluarga hingga lingkungan pekerjaan. Hal tersebut menjadi isu yang kerap kali muncul dalam masyarakat dan tidak jarang menimbulkan permasalahan karena adanya ketidaksetaraan gender. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran lebih mendalam tentang implementasi kesetaraan gender di lingkungan pekerjaan yang dilakukan di PT. PC. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada pekerja laki-laki, pekerja perempuan, dan HR assistant manager, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data model miles dan Huberman, serta menguji data melalui triangluasi teknik sumber data dan pengumpul data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) semua pekerja diberikan akses yang adil dan setara dalam saluran informasi mengenai lowongan pekerjaan, proses perekrutan, dan upah; (2) kesempatan partisipasi dalam mengemukakan pendapat dan mengambil keputusan (3) mengontrol perusahaan melalui serikat pekerja dan adilnya sistem pengontrolan dan evaluasi hasil kinerja (4) merasakan manfaat yang adil dalam segi sosial, ekonomi, peningkatan kemampuan, dan pemenuhan hak mereka. Namun, terdapat perbedaan dalam akses pembagian kerja, utamanya di bagian lapangan, di mana terdapat beberapa pembagian pekerjaan yang dilakukan atas dasar berat dan ringannya suatu pekerjaan, di mana pekerja laki-laki diberikan pekerjaan yang berat dan lebih membutuhkan kekuatan fisik sementara perempuan diberikan pekerjaan yang lebih ringan, hal tersebut dipandang teori nurture merupakan sebuah hasil konstruksi sosial yang membedakan peran dan tanggung jawab antara laki-laki dan perempuan yang dilakukan secara turun temurun sehingga anggapan tersebut sangat melekat di masyarakat. Hal tersebut berpengaruh kepada perbedaan akses pada fasilitas peralatan kerja di PT. PC karena perbedaan wewenang dalam suatu pekerjaan. Dengan demikian, perusahaan perlu terus memperkuat penerapan kebijakan kesetaraan gender untuk lebih mencipatakan lingkungan kerja yang inklusif. In today's reality, differences between men and women can be felt in opportunities, responsibilities, and decision-making in the family to the work environment. This is an issue that often arises in society and often causes problems due to gender inequality. This research aims to get a more in-depth picture of the implementation of gender equality in the work environment carried out at PT PC. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through interviews with male workers, female workers, and HR assistant managers, observation, and documentation studies. This research uses miles and Huberman model data analysis, and tests the data through triangluation of data source techniques and data collectors. The results show that (1) all workers are given fair and equal access to information channels regarding job vacancies, the recruitment process, and wages; (2) participation opportunities in expressing opinions and making decisions (3) control the company through trade unions and a fair system of controlling and evaluating performance results (4) feel fair benefits in terms of social, economic, increasing abilities, and fulfilling their rights. However, there are differences in access to the division of labor, especially in the field, where there are several divisions of labor carried out on the basis of the weight and lightness of a job, where male workers are given work that is heavy and requires more physical strength while women are given lighter work, this is seen by nurture theory as a result of social construction that distinguishes roles and responsibilities between men and women which is carried out for generations so that this assumption is very embedded in society. This affects the difference in access to work equipment facilities at PT PC due to differences in authority in a job. Thus, companies need to continue to strengthen the implementation of gender equality policies to further create an inclusive work environment.
