Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-module membaca kritis teks berita dengan menggunakan pendekatan deduktif yang berorientasi pada literasi informasi untuk siswa SMA. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan literasi informasi siswa, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya bahan ajar yang terintegrasi dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE, yang terdiri atas tahapan analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. E-module ini dirancang untuk membantu siswa memahami struktur dan isi teks berita secara mendalam dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip literasi informasi, seperti kemampuan mencari, mengevaluasi, dan menggunakan informasi secara efektif. Selain itu, pendekatan deduktif diterapkan untuk memulai pembelajaran dari konsep umum menuju contoh-contoh spesifik, sehingga siswa dapat mempelajari materi secara sistematis dan terarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-module ini valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran, ahli praktisi dan ahli grafika dengan hasil rata-rata skor 84,56% dengan kategori sangat layak. Implementasi di kelas menunjukkan bahwa e-module mampu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kritis siswa, yang terlihat dari peningkatan hasil tes sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, e-module ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya dalam meningkatkan literasi informasi dan kemampuan membaca kritis siswa SMA. This study aims to develop an e-module for critical reading of news texts using a deductive approach oriented to information literacy for high school students. This research is motivated by the lack of student’s information literacy skills, which is caused by the lack of teaching materials integrated with effective learning approaches in improving critical thinking skills. The research and development model used in this study is the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed e-module is designed to help students understand the structure and content of news texts in depth by integrating information literacy principles, such as the ability to search, evaluate, and use information effectively. In addition, a deductive approach is applied to start learning from general concepts to specific examples, so that students can learn the material systematically and purposefully. The results showed that this e-module is valid, practical, and effective in learning. Validation was carried out by material experts, learning experts, practitioner experts and graphical experts with an average score of 84.56% with a very feasible category. Implementation in the classroom shows that the e-module can improve students' critical reading skills, which can be seen from the increase in test results before and after learning.
