Abstract

Degradasi moral yang berdampak pada karakter cinta tanah air peserta didik menjadi isu krusial, terutama bagi peserta didik Program ADEM asal Papua di Kota Bandung. Sebagai wilayah yang kerap dikaitkan dengan konflik, upaya membangun karakter cinta tanah air peserta didik ADEM menghadapi tantangan tersendiri. Pembelajaran geografi dapat menjadi instrumen dalam menumbuhkan karakter cinta tanah air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi faktor-faktor pembelajaran geografi di sekolah mitra program ADEM, menganalisis karakter cinta tanah air peserta didik program ADEM pada sekolah mitra di Kota Bandung, dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor pembelajaran geografi terhadap karakter cinta tanah air peserta didik program ADEM pada sekolah mitra di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik program ADEM di Kota Bandung, dengan sampel sebanyak 77 peserta didik dari tujuh sekolah mitra. Variabel penelitian mencakup faktor-faktor pembelajaran geografi, yaitu kompetensi profesional guru (X₁), strategi pembelajaran (X₂), karakteristik peserta didik (X₃), dan lingkungan belajar (X₄), serta karakter cinta tanah air (Y). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, studi literatur, dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini: (1) Implementasi faktor-faktor pembelajaran geografi pada sekolah mitra ADEM tergolong baik, dengan variabel karakteristik peserta didik sebagai penilaian tertinggi, sedangkan strategi pembelajaran mendapatkan penilaian terendah; (2) Karakter cinta tanah air peserta didik ADEM juga tergolong baik, dengan indikator sikap sebagai penilaian tertinggi, sedangkan indikator pengetahuan mendapatkan penilaian terendah; (3) Hasil uji hipotesis membuktikan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru, strategi pembelajaran, karakteristik peserta didik, dan lingkungan belajar memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap karakter cinta tanah air peserta didik, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 95,8%. Dari keempat variabel tersebut, karakteristik peserta didik memiliki pengaruh terbesar, sedangkan lingkungan belajar memiliki pengaruh paling kecil. Dengan demikian, peningkatan karakter cinta tanah air peserta didik dapat dioptimalkan melalui penguatan karakteristik peserta didik, disertai dengan peningkatan strategi pembelajaran, kompetensi profesional guru, dan lingkungan belajar. Direkomendasikan agar sekolah mitra ADEM terus mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran geografi yang lebih kontekstual dan inovatif, serta memperkuat aspek pengetahuan guna meningkatkan karakter cinta tanah air peserta didik secara menyeluruh. Moral degradation that impacts the character of patriotism of students is a crucial issue, especially for ADEM Program students from Papua in Bandung City. As an area that is often associated with conflict, efforts to build the character of patriotism of ADEM students face its own challenges. Geography learning can be an instrument in fostering the character of patriotism. This study aims to analyze the implementation of geography learning factors in ADEM program partner schools, analyze the character of patriotism of ADEM program students in partner schools in Bandung City, and analyze the influence of geography learning factors on the character of patriotism of ADEM program students in partner schools in Bandung City. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach. The research population was all ADEM program students in Bandung City, with a sample of 77 students from seven partner schools. The research variables include geography learning factors, namely teacher professional competence (X₁), learning strategies (X₂), student characteristics (X₃), and learning environment (X₄), as well as the character of patriotism (Y). Data were collected through questionnaires, literature studies, and observations, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study: (1) The implementation of geography learning factors in ADEM partner schools is classified as good, with the variable of student characteristics as the highest assessment, while the learning strategy gets the lowest assessment; (2) The character of ADEM students' love of the homeland is also classified as good, with the indicator of attitude as the highest assessment, while the indicator of knowledge gets the lowest assessment; (3) The results of the hypothesis test prove that teacher professional competence, learning strategies, student characteristics, and learning environment have a significant influence on the character of students' love of the homeland, both partially and simultaneously, with a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 95.8%. Of the four variables, student characteristics have the greatest influence, while the learning environment has the smallest influence. Thus, increasing the character of students' love of the homeland can be optimized through strengthening student characteristics, accompanied by improving learning strategies, teacher professional competence, and learning environment. It is recommended that ADEM partner schools continue to develop more contextual and innovative geography learning strategies, as well as strengthen the knowledge aspect in order to improve the character of students' love of the homeland as a whole.
