Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara koordinasi mata-tangan dan power otot lengan dengan hasil tembakan free throw pada atlet bola basket. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian teknik korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 15 atlet bola basket SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bandung. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan tes koordinasi mata-tangan yaitu tes anticipation reaction test, pengukuran power otot lengan dengan tes over head throw dengan medicine ball, serta tes hasil tembakan free throw yang dilakukan sebanyak 10 kali dalam kondisi yang terkontrol. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi ganda dan korelasi Pearson pada SPSS untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan antara variabel-variabel tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara koordinasi mata-tangan dan power otot lengan dengan hasil tembakan free throw, di mana atlet dengan koordinasi mata-tangan yang baik dan power otot lengan yang optimal cenderung menghasilkan tembakan free throw yang lebih akurat. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan latihan untuk atlet bola basket. This study aims to analyze the relationship between eye-hand coordination and arm muscle power with the results of free throw shots in basketball athletes. The method used is descriptive quantitative with correlational technique research design. The research sample consisted of 15 basketball athletes from SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bandung . The sampling technique in this study used total sampling technique. Data collected using hand-eye coordination tests, namely the anticipation reacction test, measurement of arm muscle power with the over head throw test with a medicine ball, as well as a free throw shot test which was performed 10 times under controlled conditions. Data analysis was carried out with multiple correlation tests and Pearson correlation on SPSS to determine the extent of the relationship between these variables. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between hand eye coordination and arm muscle power with the results of free throw shots, where athletes with good hand-eye coordination and optimal arm muscle power tend to produce free throw shots. which is more accurate. These findings make an important contribution to the development of training for basketball athletes.
