Abstract

Wanawisata Tangga Seribu di Desa Cibiru Wetan merupakan destinasi wisata yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan. Namun, kurangnya pengenalan masyarakat terhadap destinasi ini menunjukkan pentingnya upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan awareness. Salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui perancangan identitas visual yang mampu merepresentasikan keunikan dan daya tarik destinasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang identitas visual Wanawisata Tangga Seribu dan menghasilkan rancangan yang dapat diterapkan pada berbagai media promosi branding. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah practice-led research, yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: tahap persiapan, tahap imajinasi, tahap pengembangan imajinasi, tahap pengerjaan, dan hasil karya. Hasil penelitian menciptakan identitas visual untuk Wanawisata Tangga Seribu berupa logo, warna, tipe huruf, pola, dan beberapa aturan dalam penggunaan logo yang terdapat dalam buku merek. Identitas visual yang dihasilkan diterapkan pada media promosi seperti kaos, rompi, tas jinjing, signage kotak lampu neon, tiket, gantungan kunci, mock-up spanduk, stiker, papan penunjuk arah, dan maskot, serta media promosi akun Instagram. Hasil rancangan identitas visual baru dapat disimpulkan efektif dalam mendukung upaya meningkatkan kesadaran merek Wanawisata Tangga Seribu. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang dilakukan, di mana terjadi peningkatan skor awareness yang cukup signifikan dibandingkan dengan sebelumnya ------ Tangga Seribu Wanawisata in Cibiru Wetan Village is a tourist destination that has great potential for development. However, the lack of public awareness of this destination shows the importance of strategic efforts to increase awareness. One step that can be taken is through designing a visual identity that is able to represent the uniqueness and attractiveness of the destination. The aim of this research is to design the visual identity of Wanawisata Tangga Seribu and produce a design that can be applied to various branding promotional media. The method used in this research is practice-led research, which consists of five stages: preparation stage, imagination stage, imagination development stage, workmanship stage, and work results. The results of the research created a visual identity for Wanawisata Tangga Seribu in the form of a logo, color, type of letters, patterns, and several rules for using the logo contained in the brand book. The resulting visual identity is applied to promotional media such as t-shirts, vests, tote bags, neon light box signage, tickets, key chains, banner mock-ups, stickers, direction boards and mascots, as well as promotional media for Instagram accounts. The results of the new visual identity design can be concluded to be effective in supporting efforts to increase brand awareness of Wanawisata Tangga Seribu. This can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest, where there was a significant increase in awareness scores compared to before.
