    Abstract

    Tantangan pada abad ke-21 menuntut siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, namun faktanya, kemampuan ini masih rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media Augmented Reality, bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) materi organ pencernaan manusia. Jenis penelitan yang digunakan adalah quasi expreriment, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas 5A dan 5B SDN 9 Nagrikaler. Hasil menunjukkan menggunaan model Problem Based Learning dengan media Augmented Reality lebih baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dibandingkan model konvensional. Hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai uji N-Gain, kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai rata-rata 69,47 yang berada pada kategori cukup efektif, sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata 53,28 yang termasuk pada kategori kurang efektif. Penggunaan model Problem Based Learning dengan media Augmented Reality juga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 52,9%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan setelah mendapat perlakuan dengan model Problem Based Learning, dan terdapat pengaruh pada model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas eksperimen.

    The challenges of the 21st century require students to develop critical thinking skills.
    Learning Natural Sciences (IPA) has the potential to improve students' critical thinking
    skills, but in fact, this ability is still low. This study uses the Problem Based Learning model
    assisted by Augmented Reality media, aims to determine the effect and improvement of
    students' critical thinking skills in the subject of Natural Sciences (IPA) material on human
    digestive organs. The type of research used is quasi expreriment, Non-Equivalent Control
    Group Design and using purposive sampling technique. The samples used were class 5A
    and 5B SDN 9 Nagrikaler. The results show that using the Problem Based Learning model
    with Augmented Reality media is better in improving students' critical thinking skills than
    conventional models. This is evidenced from the N-Gain test value, the experimental class
    obtained an average value of 69.47 which is in the moderately effective category, while the
    control class obtained an average value of 53.28 which is included in the less effective
    category. The use of Problem Based Learning models with Augmented Reality media can
    also improve students' critical thinking skills by 52.9%. The conclusion of this study is that
    the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class have increased after being
    treated with the Problem Based Learning model, and there is an effect on the Problem
    Based Learning model on students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class.
