Abstract
Ilmu pengetahuan sosial merupakan konsep disiplin ilmu sosial yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa. Salah satu tujuan ilmu pengetahuan sosial adalah siswa dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Menurut beberapa penelitian, kterampilan berpikir kritis ilmu pengetahuan sosial masih tergolong rendah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis salah satunya dengan cara menerapkan model Team Game Tournament (TGT) dan media video interaktif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan membandingkan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui melalui hasil koefisien determinasi bahwa peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 50,3% dari hasil penerapan model Team Game Tournament (TGT), dan 49,7% adalah faktor lain. Berdasarkan hasil regresi linear sederhana diperoleh nilai sebesar 0.425. koefisien regresi menunjukkan tanda positif yang memiliki arti bahwa penggunaan model Team Game Tournament (TGT) berbantuan video interaktif memiliki pengaruh yang cukup kuat terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis. ----- Social science is a concept of social discipline that must be mastered By students.
