Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keefektifan layanan bimbingan karir dalam peningkatan kematangan eksplorasi karir siswa yang dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas X SMAN 11 Garut. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain equivalent time series. Analisis data menggunakan analysis of varians atau ANOVA untuk mengetahui signifikansi peningkatan skor kematangan eksplorasi karir siswa. Penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan skor kematangan eksplorasi karir pada aspek sikap dan aspek kompetensi setelah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan layanan bimbingan karir efektif dalam peningkatan kematangan eksplorasi karir siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian.

The aim of the present study was to examine the effectiveness of career guidance in enhancing exploration stage of career maturity with students of 10th grade at SMAN 11 Garut. The study posses equivalent time series quasi experimental design. The data was analyzed by using analysis of varians or ANOVA to identify the significance of exploration stage of career maturity enhance. Research showed an enhancement of attitude and competencies aspect. The result provide an evidance that career guidance was effective to enhance exploration stage of career maturity of students who was studied.
