Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan dinamika sosial menjadi tantangan dalam pendidikan karakter di era modern. Salah satu upaya penguatan pendidikan karakter di Purwakarta adalah program Agama, Keagamaan, dan Pendalaman Kitab-Kitab (AKPK) yang dirancang untuk membentuk siswa yang berkarakter religi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi implementasi, implikasi, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi program AKPK. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas V SDN 1 Nagri Kaler, Purwakarta dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus, data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberhasilan program AKPK dalam membentuk karakter religi siswa dengan melalui tiga strategi utama: pembelajaran langsung, pembiasaan, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan mencakup dukungan sekolah, keterlibatan orang tua, dan lingkungan yang kondusif. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan dan variasi pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai agama masih menjadi kendala yang perlu diatasi. ----- Technological developments and social dynamics are challenges in character education in the modern era. One of the efforts to strengthen character education in Purwakarta is the Religion, Religion and Study of Books (AKPK) program which is designed to form students with religious character. This research aims to explore the implementation, implications and factors that influence the AKPK program. The research was conducted in class V of SDN 1 Nagri Kaler, Purwakarta using the case study method, data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show the success of the AKPK program in forming students' religious character through three main strategies: direct learning, habituation, and extracurricular activities. Supporting factors for success include school support, parental involvement, and a conducive environment. However, challenges such as limited implementation time and variations in students' understanding of religious values are still obstacles that need to be overcome.
