Abstract

Bisnis wisata memiliki potensi besar di Indonesia karena didukung oleh lingkungan dan kondisi alam. Namun, keberadaan bisnis wisata akan dipengaruhi oleh keadaan alam dan kegiatan manusia didalamnya. Sehingga diperlukan pengelolaan manajemen sumberdaya manusia untuk mengelola bisnis tersebut agar tetap terjaga baik secara finansial seperti jasa wisata yang diberikan kepada pengunjung, maupun secara nonfinansial yaitu terjaganya area lingkungan wisata dengan tingkat kinerja karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : (1) menganalisis pengaruh implementasi strategi terkait sumberdaya manusia terhadap tingkat kinerja, (2) menganalisis implementasi desain organisasi terhadap tingkat kinerja, (3) menganalisis employee engagement terhadap tingkat kinerja, (4) menganalisis implementasi strategi terhadap tingkat employee engagement, (5) menganalisis implementasi desain organisasi terhadap tingkat employee engagement, (6) menganalisis menganalisis pengaruh implementasi strategi terkait sumberdaya manusia terhadap tingkat kinerja yang dimediasi oleh employee engagement, dan (7) menganalisis implementasi desain organisasi terhadap tingkat kinerja dimediasi oleh employee engagement. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah path analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa semua variabel independent memiliki pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung secara positif terhadap variabel dependennya dengan nilai t-hitung > t-tabel. Variabel yang paling berpengaruh secara langsung adalah implementasi strategi sebesar 35% terhadap tingkat kinerja, diperkuat 2,8% pengaruhnya oleh hasil mediasi variabel employee engagement. Implementasi strategi diterima oleh karyawan baik, implementasi tersebut sesuai dengan program, kegiatan, dan tujuan bisnis wisata. Adanya kesesuaian yang baik berpengaruh pada tingkat keterlibatan karyawan, sehingga mempengaruhi tingkat kinerja. The tourism business has great potential in Indonesia because it is supported by the environment and natural conditions. However, the existence of the tourism business will be influenced by natural conditions and human activities in it. So that human resource management is needed to manage the business so that it is maintained both financially such as tourism services provided to visitors, and non-financially, namely maintaining the tourist environment area with employee performance levels. The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the influence of the implementation of strategic management related to human resources on the level of performance, (2) to analyze the implementation of organizational design on the level of performance, (3) to analyze employee engagement on the level of performance, (4) to analyze the implementation of strategic management on the level of employee engagement, (5) to analyze the implementation of organizational design on the level of employee engagement, (6) to analyze the influence of the implementation of strategic management related to human resources on the level of performance mediated by employee engagement, and (7) to analyze the implementation of organizational design on the level of performance mediated by employee engagement. The analysis method used is path analysis. The results of the study show that all independent variables have a direct and indirect positive influence on the dependent variable with a binomial distribution value of t-count > t-table. The variable with the most direct influence is the implementation of strategic management at 35% on the level of performance, strengthened by 2.8% of its influence by the mediation results of the employee engagement variable. The implementation of strategic management is well received by employees, the implementation is in accordance with the programs, activities, and objectives of the tourism business. The existence of good conformity affects the level of employee involvement, thus affecting the level of performance.
