Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil tulisan peserta didik dalam menulis teks prosedur yang dikatakan belum optimal karena peserta didik tidak menggunakan struktur dalam teks prosedur. Dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia penulisan teks prosedur peserta didik harus disesuaikan dengan struktur teks prosedur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video pembuatan produk terhadap keterampilan menulis teks prosedur di kelas IV SDN 3 Sukarindik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SD dengan sampel berjumlah 30 orang. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini yakni metode Pre-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh, yakni seluruh anggota populasi sebanyak 30 peserta didik digunakan sebagai sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni lembar tes. Pengujian ini dilakukan menggunakan SPSS versi 26.0 for windows. Dengan nilai signifikansi pretest 0,070 dan posttest 0,091. Berdasarkan taraf signifikansi 0,05 artinya pretest dan posttest diterima atau berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian T-test diperoleh hasil signifikansi 0,000 atau < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media video pembuatan produk terhadap keterampilan menulis teks prosedur dilihat dari adanya peningkatan pretest dan posttest. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan menulis peserta didik meningkat setelah diterapkan media video pembuatan produk sebagai media pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. This research was motivated by the results of students' writing in writing procedure texts which were said to be not optimal because students did not use structure in procedure texts. In learning Indonesian, students' writing of procedural texts must be adapted to the structure of procedural texts. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using product making video media on procedure text writing skills in class IV at SDN 3 Sukarindik. The population in this study were all fourth grade elementary school students with a sample of 30 people. The methodology in this research is the pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest Posttest research design with a quantitative approach. In this study, the sample used was a saturated sample, namely all members of the population of 30 students were used as samples. The instrument used in this research was a test sheet. This test was carried out using SPSS version 26.0 for Windows. With a pretest significance value of 0.070 and posttest 0.091. Based on a significance level of 0.05, it means that the pretest and posttest are accepted or have a normal distribution. Based on the results of the T-test, the significance result was 0.000 or <0.05, so H0 was rejected. The results of this research state that there is an influence of the use of product making video media on procedure text writing skills as seen from the increase in pretest and posttest. So it can be concluded that students' writing skills improved after implementing product making video media as a learning medium for writing procedural texts in class IV elementary school.
