Abstract

Pelecehan seksual merupakan isu serius yang sering terjadi, terutama pada remaja. Kurangnya edukasi membuat isu ini jarang dibahas, meskipun dampaknya signifikan terhadap korban. Skripsi ini membahas penggunaan komik digital "Gadis" sebagai media edukasi untuk pencegahan pelecehan seksual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perancangan karya (Prefactum, Practice-led Research) yang meliputi lima tahap: persiapan, imajinasi, pengembangan imajinasi, pengerjaan, dan hasil karya. Tahapan persiapan mencakup analisis teori dan sumber referensi, sedangkan tahapan imajinasi melibatkan eksplorasi ilustrasi dan pembuatan storyboard. Pengembangan imajinasi berfokus pada pematangan konsep dan eksplorasi sketsa, diikuti dengan pengerjaan yang mencakup website gambar dan efek suara. Hasil karya berupa komik digital "Gadis" didistribusikan di platform Webtoon secara self-publish. Penilaian dari angket menunjukkan bahwa 93,3% responden, terutama remaja Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Atas, mengapresiasi komik ini sebagai edukasi pencegahan pelecehan seksual dan merasa termotivasi untuk peduli terhadap isu tersebut. Meskipun ada saran untuk penambahan episode dan perbaikan narasi, komik ini dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman mengenai pencegahan pelecehan seksual sebagai media edukasi. ------------- Sexual harassment is a serious issue that frequently occurs, especially among teenagers. The lack of education often make this issue rarely discussed, despite its significant impact on victims. This thesis explores the use of the digital comic Gadis as an educational medium for preventing sexual harassment. This research employs a design-based method (Prefactum, Practice-led Research) consisting of five stages: preparation, imagination, imaginative development, execution, and final product. The preparation stage involves theoretical analysis and reference sourcing, while the imagination stage includes illustration exploration and storyboard creation. The imaginative development focuses on refining concepts and sketch exploration, followed by execution that incorporates digital illustrations and sound effects. The final product, the digital comic Gadis, is self-published on the Webtoon platform. Surveys reveal that 93.3% of respondents, particularly high school students, appreciate the comic as an educational tool for preventing sexual harassment and feel motivated to be more concerned about the issue. Although there are suggestions for adding episodes and improving the narrative, the comic is considered effective in raising awareness and understanding of sexual harassment prevention as an educational medium.
