Abstract

ABSTRAK Rina Syadiyyah, (2024). Tesis: “Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah Perempuan Dalam Mengembangkan Budaya Sekolah Di Sekolah Dasar Kabupaten Karawang”. Penelitian ini fokus pada implementasi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah perempuan dalam mengembangkan budaya sekolah di sekolah dasar Kabupaten Karawang. Melalui gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, kepala sekolah perempuan perlu mengembangkan budaya sekolah yang kuat agar nilai-nilai kultur akademik, kultur sosial budaya, dan kultur demokratis dapat terwujud di lingkungan pendidikan. Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah perempuan memegang peran penting dalam membentuk budaya sekolah yang mendukung terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang positif dan kolaboratif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, staf tata usaha, dan orangtua siswa di SDIT Harapan Umat, SDN Palumbonsari 4, dan SDN Kutagandok 4. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman, dan pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi Nvivo 14. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah perempuan di ketiga sekolah menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan focus pada idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, dan individualized consideration. Selain itu, ketiga kepala sekolah perempuan berhasil mengembangkan budaya sekolah melalui tiga jenis kultur: akademik, sosial-budaya, dan demokratis. Ketiga kultur tersebut telah berkembang di sekolah-sekolah karena dukungan integritas kepala sekolah, komunikasi yang terbuka, serta kolaborasi yang kuat. Meskipun terdapat beberapa tantangan, kolaborasi semua pihak dan penerapan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah perempuan berhasil menciptakan budaya sekolah yang positif dan berkelanjutan. This study focuses on the implementation of the transformational leadership style of female principals in developing school culture in elementary schools in Karawang Regency. Through a transformational leadership style, female principals need to develop a strong school culture so that the values of academic culture, socio-cultural culture, and democratic culture can be realized in the educational environment. The transformational leadership style of female principals plays an important role in shaping a school culture that supports the creation of a positive and collaborative learning environment. This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study included principals, teachers, administrative staff, and parents of students at SDIT Harapan Umat, SDN Palumbonsari 4, and SDN Kutagandok 4. Data analysis used the Miles & Huberman model, and data processing used the Nvivo 14 application. The results of this study indicate that female principals in the three schools apply a transformational leadership style with a focus on idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. In addition, the three female principals succeeded in developing school culture through three types of culture: academic, socio-cultural, and democratic. These three cultures have developed in schools because of the support of the principal's integrity, open communication, and strong collaboration. Despite several challenges, the collaboration of all parties and the application of the female principal's transformational leadership values have succeeded in creating a positive and sustainable school culture.
