Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explain the understanding of parents in PAUD towards the concept of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion. The researcher seeks to explain the concept of gender equality and social inclusion in early childhood from various parental perspectives to represent the concept picture as a whole. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design, the researcher involves five parents who have children with an age range of 4-6 years and attend early childhood education. Data collection using open interview techniques. The data analysis technique uses thematic analysis by focusing coding. The results of the study show that parents' views on the concept of gender equality and social inclusion can vary, and can be influenced by various factors. Some parents believe that these concepts are essential to addressing inequalities and ensuring that all children have equal access and opportunity to get a better education. The implications and recommendations of this study encourage policy makers and educational institutions to jointly support parents' knowledge in early childhood education related to the concepts of gender equality and social inclusion, help develop more effective strategies to address inequalities and ensure that all children have equal access and opportunity to equal, equitable and inclusive education.
