Abstract

Pengendalian persediaan untuk kelancaran proses produksi dinilai sangat penting bagi industri karena mempengaruhi keuntungan dan operasional perusahaan PT XYZ mengalami permasalahan pada proses pengendalian persediaan karena proses tersebut masih dilakukan secara manual tanpa acuan yang jelas, pembelian dilakukan ketika stok menipis, frekuensi pembelian bahan baku dalam 1 bulan terlalu sering dan belum terdapat kebijakan safety stock. Hal tersebut membuat jumlah persediaan di gudang tidak terkendali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hasil pemeringkatan klasifikasi ABC dan kuantitas optimal EOQ serta jumlah biaya persediaan. Data yang digunakan yaitu data sekunder dengan metode pengolahan data yang digunakan untuk menghitung pengendalian persediaan yaitu Klasifikasi ABC dan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 7 dari 19 bahan baku pada kelas A. Hasil perhitungan EOQ menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pemesanan ekonomis tahun 2022 sebesar 444 dan tahun 2023 sebesar 512. Total Inventory Cost (TIC) metode EOQ lebih kecil daripada TIC metode konvensional persediaan dengan penghematan tahun 2022 sebesar Rp34.765.279 atau sebesar 59% dan tahun 2023 sebesar Rp40.525.271 atau 62%. Metode klasifikasi ABC dan EOQ dapat diterapkan di perusahaan menggunakan formula excel ABC dan EOQ sebagai acuan pengendalian persediaan karena menghasilkan peringkat prioritas persediaan, jumlah kuantitas pembelian optimal, dan biaya persediaan minimal. Penggabungan metode Klasifikasi ABC dan EOQ dengan alat bantu praktis seperti Formula Excel, yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan IKM, merupakan langkah awal menuju digitalisasi, yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pengelolaan persediaan. Inventory control for the smooth production process is considered very important for the industry because it affects the profits and operations of the company PT XYZ is experiencing problems in the inventory control process because the process is still carried out manually without a clear reference, purchases are made when stocks are low, the frequency of purchasing raw materials in 1 month is too frequent and there is no safety stock policy. This makes the amount of inventory in the warehouse uncontrollable. The purpose of this study is to determine the results of the ABC classification ranking and the optimal quantity of EOQ and the amount of inventory costs. The data used is secondary data with data processing methods used to calculate inventory control, namely ABC Classification and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). The results showed that there were 7 out of 19 raw materials in class A. The results of the EOQ calculation show that the average economic order in 2022 is 444 and in 2023 is 512. The Total Inventory Cost (TIC) of the EOQ method is smaller than the TIC of the conventional inventory method with savings in 2022 of Rp34,765,279 or 59% and in 2023 of Rp40,525,271 or 62%. The ABC and EOQ classification methods can be applied in companies using the ABC and EOQ excel formulas as a reference for inventory control because they produce inventory priority rankings, optimal purchase quantity, and minimal inventory costs. Combining the ABC and EOQ Classification methods with practical tools such as Excel Formulas, which are tailored to the conditions and needs of SMEs, is the first step towards digitalization, which can improve efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
