Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dosen Akademi Tata Boga Bandung yang kesulitan saat harus melaksanakan pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa disabilitas di kelas. Semua itu berawal dari ketidaksengajaan mahasiswa disabilitas yang lolos di terima berkuliah di kampus ini. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan program peningkatan kompetensi dosen Akademi Tata Boga Bandung dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode eksperimen dengan quasi experimental design. Observasi, asesmen, wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengetahui kondisi objektif kompetensi dosen dalam pelaksanaan Pendidikan Inklusif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tersusunnya pengembangan program peningkatan kompetensi dosen Akademi Tata Boga Bandung dalam pelaksanaan Pendidikan Inklusif, dan program yang telah dikembangkan dapat digunakan oleh dosen sebagai acuan dalam memberikan pembelajaran untuk mengoptimalkan potensi mahasiswa disabilitas di kelas. This research was motivated by a lecturer at the Bandung Cullinary Art Academy who had difficulty when It had to carry out learning for students with disabilities in class. It all started with the inadvertence of students with disabilities who were accepted to study at this campus. The focus of this research is the development of a competency improvement program for Bandung Cullinary Art Academy lecturers in the implementation of inclusive education. In this study, researchers used two methods, namely descriptive method with a qualitative approach and experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. Observations, assessments, interviews and documentation are used to determine the objective conditions of lecturer competence in the implementation of inclusive education. The results of this study are the development of a competency improvement program for Bandung Catering Academy lecturers in the implementation of Inclusive Education, and the program that has been developed can be used by lecturers as a reference in providing learning to optimize the potential of students with disabilities in the classroom.
