    Abstract

    Aljabar pada jenjang sekolah dasar merupakan salah satu elemen baru dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan, terdapat learning obstacle pada pembelajaran aljabar pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan cacah yang terdiri dari hambatan ontogenik, hambatan didaktis, dan hambatan epistemologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun desain local instructional theory (LIT) untuk meminimalisir learning obstacle yang muncul dengan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir aljabar peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas III SDN 3 Nasol, Kecamatan Cikoneng, Kabupaten Ciamis, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Desain Research. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: 1) tahap persiapan penelitian, tahap implementasi desain LIT, dan tahap analisis retrospektif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes uji learning obstacle, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis learning obstacle, peneliti merancang hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) dan antisipasi didaktis. Hasil penelitian ini berupa desain LIT untuk mengembangakan kemampuan berpikir aljabar pada konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan cacah di kelas III yang terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Setelah dilakukan implementasi, desain LIT ini diperbaiki untuk meminimalisir kesulitan yang dialami peserta didik pada implementasi sebelumnya. Hasil akhir penelitian ini berupa desain local instructional theory (LIT) berpikir aljabar pada penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan cacah yang masih dapat dikembangkan lagi dngan pengkajian yang lebih mendalam.

    Algebra at elementary school level is one of the new elements in the Independent Curriculum. Based on preliminary studies, there are learning obstacles in learning algebra in addition and subtraction of whole numbers consisting of ontogenic obstacles, didactic obstacles, and epistemological obstacles. This research aims to develop a local instructional theory (LIT) design to minimize learning obstacles that arise by developing students' algebraic thinking abilities. This research was carried out in class III of SDN 3 Nasol, Cikoneng District, Ciamis Regency, West Java Province. This research uses the Research Design method. The stages in this research include: 1) research preparation stage, LIT design implementation stage, and retrospective analysis stage. Research data was collected through learning obstacle tests, interviews, and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the learning obstacle analysis, researchers designed a hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) and didactic anticipation. The results of this research are an LIT design to develop algebraic thinking skills on the concept of addition and subtraction of whole numbers in class III, which consists of two meetings. After implementation, the LIT design was improved to minimize the difficulties experienced by students in the previous implementation. The final result of this research is a local instructional theory (LIT) design for algebraic thinking in addition and subtraction of whole numbers which can still be developed with more in-depth study.
