Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) dan Fartlek Training terhadap peningkatan volume oksigen maksimum siswa sekolah sepakbola Uni Bandung U15 beserta perbedaan pengaruhnya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 20 orang pemain dengan cara pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara sampel bertujuan (purposive sampling), dengan kriteria pengambilan atlet atau yang bermain di PENGCAB KU-15. Sampel dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok menggunakan teknik ordinal pairing. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah bleep test. Data diolah menggunakan uji paired sample t test dan independent t test pada aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan VO2max dengan menggunakan metode HIIT lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan metode fartlek. Berdasarkan perbandingan persentase peningkatan VO2max menggunakan metode HIIT terjadi peningkatan sebesar 20% sedangkan saat menggunakan metode fartlek terjadi peningkatan sebesar 10%. The purpose of this study is to find out how much the influence of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Fartlek Training on the increase in maximum oxygen volume of Uni Bandung U15 football school students and the difference in their effects. This research method uses experiments. The sample used was 20 players by way of sampling by purposive sampling, with the criteria for taking athletes or those who played in PENGCAB KU-15. The sample was divided into 2 groups using the ordinal pairing technique. The instrument used is the bleep test. Data was processed using paired sample t test and independent t test on the SPSS application. The results showed that increasing VO2max using the HIIT method was more effective than the fartlek method. Based on the comparison, the percentage increase in VO2max using the HIIT method increased by 20%, while when using the fartlek method, there was an increase of 10%.
