Abstract
Indonesia memiliki potensi keindahan dan kekayaan alam yang bernilai tinggi dalam pasar industri wisata alam. Namun, sekarang ini telah terjadi pergeseran trend wisata. Wisata yang lebih digemari sekarang ini lebih terfokus kepada wisata mengandung nilai edukasi dan memberikan sumbangannya demi konservasi lingkungan. Pusat Pendidikan Konservasi Alam Bodogol (PPKAB) merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata yang mengedepankan unsur pendidikan lingkungan di dalamnya. Penelitian ini mengkaji manfaat dari suatu wilayah dan bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh wisata edukasi terhadap pengetahuan wisatawan yang berkunjung serta menganalisis kinerja pengelola dalam mengelola kawasan wisata. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik persentase dalam melakukan analisis data. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu, misi wisata edukasi PPKAB belum sepenuhnya tersampaikan kepada wisatawan, nilai edukasi yang didapat wisatawan berupa fungsi hutan, keragaman flora dan fauna serta nilai ketuhanan. Untuk pengelolaan kawasan PPKAB sudah cukup baik namun sedang dilakukan beberapa pengembangan dalam aspek jalan. Kata Kunci : wisata edukasi, karakteristik wisatawan Indonesia has the potential of beauty and natural resources, which is high in the industrial market natural attraction. However, now there have been shifting trend in tourism. Tourist destinations more popular now this is more focused to containing tourism the value of education and give his contributions to for environmental conservation. Pusat Pendidikan Konservasi Alam Bodogol (PPKAB) is one of the tourist zone which featured some element of education environment in it. This study assessing the benefits of a territory and aims to evaluate the influence of education tourism against knowledge tourist who is visiting and analyze the performance of management in managing the area of tourism. The study is done by using the method descriptive and uses the technique the percentage in doing analysis of data. As for the result of this research that is, the mission education tourism ppkab not fully delivered to tourists, the value of education obtained tourists in the form of the function of the forest, the diversity of flora and fauna and value godhood. To management PPKAB area has been good enough but being done some development in the aspect of the road. Keywords : educational tourism, tourist charasteristic
