Abstract
Kurikulum Merdeka yang diperkenalkan secara bertahap oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi Indonesia, bertujuan untuk memberikan fleksibilitas dan otonomi kepada satuan pendidikan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru geografi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era Kurikulum Merdeka pada SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Dalam konteks penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka, penelitian ini berfokus pada tiga aspek utama: penerapan kurikulum, diversifikasi proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran geografi, dan strategi guru dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Data diperoleh melalui identifikasi tujuan umum pembelajaran, analisis pengembangan strategi, metode pembelajaran, serta evaluasi hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan strategi pengajaran geografi di SMA Negeri Kota Bandung berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, dengan 87% guru memperoleh nilai dalam kategori tersebut. Hal ini mencerminkan bahwa guru geografi telah berhasil menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran yang matang. Pada aspek pelaksanaan, 97% guru termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengajaran geografi dilaksanakan secara efektif dan terstruktur. Untuk evaluasi, 80% guru berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi, menandakan bahwa tahapan evaluasi yang dilakukan efektif dalam menilai dan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi guru geografi dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di era Kurikulum Merdeka telah berhasil dilaksanakan dan berjalan dengan baik. The Independent Curriculum, introduced in stages by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, aims to provide flexibility and autonomy to educational units in the learning process. This research evaluates the strategies implemented by geography teachers to improve the quality of learning in the era of the Independent Curriculum at state high schools in Bandung City. The study focuses on three main aspects: curriculum implementation, diversification of the learning process in geography subjects, and teacher strategies for enhancing learning quality. Data were obtained through the identification of general learning objectives, analysis of strategy development, learning methods, and evaluation of student learning outcomes. The results indicate that strategic planning for teaching geography at state high schools in Bandung City is categorized as very high, with 87% of teachers scoring in this category. This reflects that geography teachers have successfully prepared comprehensive learning plans. In terms of implementation, 97% of teachers fall into the very high category, suggesting that geography teaching strategies are implemented effectively and systematically. Regarding evaluation, 80% of teachers are in the very high category, demonstrating that the evaluation stages are effective in assessing and improving student understanding. Thus, it can be concluded that geography teachers' strategies for improving the quality of learning in the era of the Independent Curriculum have been successfully implemented and are functioning well.
