Abstract
Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan campuran atau dapat disebut dengan Mix Method. Penelitian Mixed Method merupakan jenis penelitian yang menganalisis, mengumpulkan, serta menggabungkan metode penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif ke dalam suatu ikatan penelitian untuk memahami permasalahan penelitian. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode Educational Design Research (EDR). Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah model McKenney Reeves. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menghasilkan produk melalui tahap uji dan validasi sehingga menghasilkan produk yang valid, efektif, dan praktis yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan media pembelajaran untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan mengenal huruf anak usia 4-5 tahun. Hasil dari penelitian ini melalui tahap satu dan dua menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media kartu 3in1 untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan mengenal huruf anak usia 4-5 tahun terhadap efektivitas media dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Hal tersebut juga dapat dilihat melalui angket respon guru terhadap penggunaan media kartu 3in1 dengan memperoleh persentase 100% pada tahap satu dan 85,7% pada tahap dua. Maka, pengembangan media kartu 3in1 untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan mengenal huruf anak usia 4-5 tahun ini dapat memudahkan guru dalam menyampaikan isi materi atau informasi terkait pengenalan huruf dan perkembangan kemampuan mengenal huruf anak dapat berjalan secara efektif. In this research, researchers used a mixed approach or what can be called the Mix Method. Mixed Method Research is a type of research that analyzes, collects and combines qualitative and quantitative research methods into a research framework to understand research problems. In this research, researchers used the Educational Design Research (EDR) method. The model used in this research is the McKenney Reeves model. The aim of this research is to produce a product through the testing and validation stages so as to produce a valid, effective and practical product related to the development of learning media to facilitate the ability to recognize letters for children aged 4-5 years. The results of this research through stages one and two show that the development of 3in1 card media to facilitate the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years on the effectiveness of the media is declared suitable for use in Early Childhood Education. This can also be seen through the teacher response questionnaire regarding the use of 3in1 card media by obtaining a percentage of 100% in stage one and 85.7% in stage two. So, the development of 3in1 card media to facilitate the ability to recognize letters for children aged 4-5 years can make it easier for teachers to convey material content or information related to letter recognition and the development of children's ability to recognize letters can run effectively.
