Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi bangsa Indonesia saat ini yang sedang menghadapi ujian berat yang harus dihahadapi oleh seluruh elemen bangsa Indonesia, kualitas karakter bangsa indonesia sendiri pada saat ini telah mengalami kemerosotan khususnya generasi muda bangsa indonesia yang banyak sekali mengalami kemerosotan, hal tersebut ditandai dengan maraknya praktek KKN, terjadinya konflik, meningkatnya kriminalitas, dan menurunnya etos kerja bangsa indonesia.Pesantren sebagai satuan pendidikan keagamaan yang mengutamakan pembinaan karakter kepada santrinya, dalam hal ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap bangsa indonesia atas merosotnya kualitas/karakter bangsa indonesia. Adapaun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pembinaan karakter yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah yang berbasiskan nilai-nilai islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan metode deskrptif analitis, serta pendekatan peneliatannya adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah : (1) Unsur-unsur nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah meliputi : nilai dasar (core value), yang dimaksud adalah nilai religius yang meliputi nilai aqidah, nilai ibadah, serta nilai akhlak. Nilai instrumental yang dimaksud adalah nilai karakter yang muncul dari perilaku santri itu sendiri yang dapat diarahkan ketika pelaksanaan pembinaan karakter. Nilai praksis yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah yaitu : Siddiq,Amanah,Tabligh, Fathonah. (2) Metode pembinaan karakter yang dkembangkan Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah yaitu : Tahap pembiasaan , Tahap pengintegrasian, Tahap pengamalan. (3) Implementasi pembinaan karakter yang selama telah dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah meliputi : Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar di sekolah, kegiaan Ekstrakulikuler, kegiatan keseharian di asrama Pondok Pesantren. (4) Hasil pelaksanaan pembinaan karakter yang selama dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah menghasilkan perubahan akhlak santri dilihat dari : kedisiplinan, kemandirian, kreativitas, religiusitas, serta peran santri di tengah masyarakat dalam pembinaan rohani. Kata Kunci : Peran Pondok Pesantren, Pembinaan Karakte, Nilai-Nilai Islam This research is motivated by the Indonesian nation condition current is undergoing a severe test is undergoing by all national elements Indonesian, quality of character the Indonesian nation at the moment have experienced decline, especially in the young generation of the Indonesian nation. It is marked by rampant corrupt practices, conflict, rising crime, and declining work ethic Indonesian nation. Boarding school as the unit of religious education that prioritizes character building to his students, in this case contributes positively to character of the nation's declining quality of Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine character building developed at Darul Falah boarding school based on islamic value. The method used is this study is descriptive analytical method with a qualitative research. Data collection techniques performed by the interview, observation, documentation study, and the study of literature. The Results in this study are : (1) The elements of character values that was developed in Boarding School Darul Falah covering : the basic value question is religious value includes the value of aqidah, religious values, and moral values. Instrumental value question is the value of the characters that Appear from the behavior of students when the implementation of character building. The value praxis that was developed at Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School is : Siddiq, Amanah, Tabligh, Fathonah. (2) Method of character building at Darul Falah Boarding Scool is habituation phase, the integration phase, the practice phase, (3) Implementation of character building that have been implemented in Boarding School Darul Falah include Teaching and Learning Activities in school, extracurricular activities, daily activities in the boarding school dormitory. (4) The results of the implementation of character building that have been implemented in Boarding School Darul Falah produces : discipline, self-reliance, creativity, religiosity, and the role of students in society in spiritual formation.
