Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan tindak lanjut pembiasaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) di SDN A, SDN B, dan SDN C di Kota Tasikmalaya. Tahap pembiasaan GLS memiliki beberapa langkah kegiatan, salah satunya pembiasaan membaca 15 menit sebelum pelajaran dimulai yang dapat dilakukan dengan membaca nyaring (read aloud) dan membaca dalam hati (sustained silent reading). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilaksanakan kepada kepala sekolah, guru kelas, peserta didik, dan orang tua peserta didik di setiap sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa kegiatan tindak lanjut pembiasaan membaca 15 menit di setiap SD meliputi: (1) menceritakan kembali; (2) diskusi informal tentang isi buku; (3) menuliskan judul buku; dan (4) membuat fishbone. Namun, pada pelaksanaannya hanya ada satu sampai dua variasi kegiatan tindak lanjut setelah membaca di setiap kelas. Aktivitas peserta didik pada saat pelaksanaan tindak lanjut pembiasaan menunjukkan antusiasme dalam mengikuti kegiatan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan tindak lanjut pembiasaan GLS sangat perlu ditingkatkan untuk mengetahui pemahaman literasi peserta didik pada buku bacaan. This research aims to describe the implementation of follow-up activities to habituation the School Literacy Movement (GLS) at SDN A, SDN B, and SDN C in Tasikmalaya City. The GLS habituation stage has several activity steps, one of which is getting used to reading 15 minutes before the lesson starts which can be done by reading aloud and reading silently. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and document study. Interviews were conducted with school principals, class teachers, students, and parents of students in each school. The results of this research show that the 15 minute reading habit follow-up activities in each elementary school include: (1) retelling; (2) informal discussion about the content of the book; (3) write the title of the book; and (4) make a fishbone. However, in practice there are only one to two variations of follow-up activities after reading in each class. The student acitivites during the follow-up habituation showed enthusiasm in participating in the activity, so it can be concluded that the follow-up activites for habituation to GLS really need to be improved to determine student literacy understanding of reading books.
