Abstract

Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline yang belum digunakan dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar serta penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Dermaji yang belum sesuai harapan. Hal tersebut berakibat pada sebagian besar peserta didik masih salah dalam mengidentifikasi kosakata yang tepat. Maka, diharapkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline mampu meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2024 di kelas IV SDN 1 Dermaji, Kecamatan Lumbir, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode eksperimen dengan desain pre-experimental jenis one group pretest-posttest. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest) bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan (treatment). Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris kelas IV SDN 1 Dermaji terbukti dari nilai rata-rata pretest lebih besar dari posttest (87,12 > 56,88) serta pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris kelas IV. This research is based on interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline which has not been used in learning English vocabulary in elementary schools and the mastery of English vocabulary of class IV students at SDN 1 Dermaji which has not met expectations. This results in the majority of students still making mistakes in identifying the correct vocabulary. So, it is hoped that interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline will be able to improve students' mastery of English vocabulary. This research aims to determine the effect of interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline on the English vocabulary mastery of fourth grade elementary school students. The research was carried out in May 2024 in class IV of SDN 1 Dermaji, Lumbir District, Banyumas Regency. The research uses a quantitative approach to experimental methods with a pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest type. Research data was obtained from the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest) aimed at comparing learning outcomes before and after treatment. The results of this research state that interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline has a significant effect on the mastery of English vocabulary in class IV SDN 1 Dermaji as evidenced by the average score of the pretest being greater than the posttest (87.12 > 56.88) and hypothesis testing shows that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted so that there is an influence of interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline on the mastery of English vocabulary in class IV.
