Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi pada tahun 2020 mengakibatkan dampak yang signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan. Meluasnya wabah pandemi yang terjadi di Indonesia mengakibatkan dampak buruk terhadap kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah yang menunjukan adanya penurunan motivasi belajar pasca pandemi Covid-19 hingga mengakibatkan fenomena Learning Loss. Atas dasar tersebut, pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan tentang pengembangan kurikulum inovatif yang disebut sebagai kurikulum merdeka sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Kurikulum merdeka memiliki perbedaan karakteristik dengan kurikikulum sebelumnya yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sehingga mutu Pendidikan Indonesia meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh implementasi kurikulum merdeka terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui google form kepada 76 sampel yang terpilih dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum merdeka (variabel X) memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan motivasi beajar siswa (variabel Y) pada level 0.01. Hal itu karena nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) atau nilai probabilitas (0.000) < 0.05. Sementara itu, berdasarkan perolehan nilai korelasi 0.441 kekuatan hubungan di antara kedua variabel (X dan Y) berada pada kategori sedang dimana implementasi kurikulum merdeka memiliki pengaruh sebesar 19.5% terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Namun demikian, arah hubungan di antara kedua variabel tersebut positif karena nilai korelasi bernilai positif. Artinya, pengimplementasian kurikulum merdeka akan berdampak terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa guru sebaiknya tetap menerapkan kurikulum merdeka dalam metode pengajarannya guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in 2020 had a significant impact on the world of education. The widespread pandemic outbreak that occurred in Indonesia has had a negative impact on teaching and learning activities in schools which shows a decrease in learning motivation after the Covid-19 pandemic, resulting in the Learning Loss phenomenon. On this basis, the government issued a policy regarding the development of an innovative curriculum known as the independent curriculum as an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. The independent curriculum has different characteristics from the previous curriculum which is expected to increase student learning motivation so that the quality of Indonesian education increases. This research aims to determine the influence of the implementation of the independent curriculum on student learning motivation in PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects at school. This research method uses a quantitative approach, data collection was carried out using a questionnaire distributed via Google Form to 76 selected samples using the Slovin formula. The research results show that the implementation of the independent curriculum (variable X) has a significant relationship with student learning motivation (variable Y) at the 0.01 level. This is because the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) or probability value (0.000) < 0.05. Meanwhile, based on the correlation value of 0.441, the strength of the relationship between the two variables (X and Y) is in the medium category where the implementation of the independent curriculum has an influence of 19.5% on student learning motivation. However, the direction of the relationship between the two variables is positive because the correlation value is positive. This means that implementing the independent curriculum will have an impact on increasing student learning motivation. These results indicate that teachers should continue to apply the independent curriculum in their teaching methods in order to increase students' learning motivation.
