Abstract
Kemampuan berpikir logis merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Dalam praktiknya sering kali perkembangan kemampuan berpikir logis belum mencapai tahapan perkembangan yang diharapkan karena kurangnya stimulus yang diberikan. Salah satu cara untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia dini yaitu melalui eksperimen pencampuran warna. Kegiatan eksperimen ini bisa menjadi salah satu contoh bagi guru dalam menghadapi tantangan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia dini. Kegiatan eksperimen pencampuran warna melibatkan beberapa aspek yang berhubungan dengan kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur seberapa jauh pengaruh eksperimen pencampuran warna terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia dini sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre-eksperimen One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Peneliti menggunakan alat ukur kemampuan berpikir logis pada 8 anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kampung Cihanjuang RW.002. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan eksperimen pencampuran warna memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia 5-tahun, rata-rata hasil Pretest sebelum kegiatan sebesar 3% dan menjadi 10% pada posttest sesudah kegiatan. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai (α) sebesar 0,011 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, mengindikasikan adanya pengaruh signifikan antara rata-rata hasil Pretest dan Posttest dalam kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia dini. Disimpulkan, kegiatan eksperimen pencampuran warna berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kampung Cihanjuang RW.002. The ability to think logically is one aspect of development that must be possessed by every individual. In practice, often the development of logical thinking skills has not reached the expected developmental stages due to the lack of stimulus provided. One way to facilitate early childhood logical thinking skills is through color mixing experiments. This experimental activity can be an example for teachers in facing the challenge of developing logical thinking skills in early childhood. Color mixing experiments involve several aspects related to the logical thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years. This study aims to measure how far the effect of color mixing experiments on the logical thinking ability of early childhood before and after treatment. The research method used is an experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design pre-experiment research design. Researchers used measuring instruments for logical thinking skills in 8 children aged 5-6 years in Kampung Cihanjuang RW.002. The results showed that color mixing experiments had a positive impact on the logical thinking skills of 5-year-old children, the average pretest result before the activity was 3% and became 10% on the posttest after the activity. Hypothesis testing showed a value (α) of 0.011 which is smaller than 0.05, indicating a significant influence between the average results of the Pretest and Posttest in the logical thinking skills of early childhood. It is concluded that color mixing experiments have an effect in improving the logical thinking ability of children aged 5-6 years in Cihanjuang Village RW.002.
