Abstract

Anak cerebral palsy merupakan individu dengan kondisi gangguan fisik dan gerak, serta gangguan koordinasi tubuh yang disebabkan oleh kerusakan atau gangguan pada sistem saraf pusat (otak) yang bersifat menetap atau permanen dan bukanlah sebuah penyakit yang dapat disembuhkan atau menular, bersifat tidak progresif atau statis. Oleh karena itu, anak cerebral palsy mengalami hambatan dalam aktivitas sehari-harinya. Maka tujuan pembelajaran bagi anak cerebral palsy adalah dual purpose, berarti bahwa tujuan pendidikan bagi anak akan sangat berkaitan pada aspek rehabilitasi dengan sasaran pemulihan pada fungsi fisik, serta tujuan pendidikan yang mengacu pada tujuan pendidikan nasional. Sehingga, praktik pembelajaran di sekolah meliputi pengembangan gerak dan pengembangan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran pelaksanaan program pengembangan gerak tangan di TKLB SLBN Cihaurbeuti. Pendeketan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah guru, orang tua, dan anak cerebral palsy di TKLB SLBN Cihaurbeuti. Hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program pengembangan gerak tangan bagi anak cerebral palsy berjalan kurang optimal. Informasi guru terkait anak cerebral palsy masih minim, sehingga pada praktiknya banyak hal-hal kurang professional yang menyebabkan kurang optimalnya pelayanan pada anak. Guru tidak melakukan asesmen secara langsung pada anak, dimana hal ini merupakan hal pertama dan utama. Sehingga penelitian ini, menghasilkan sebuah rekomendasi program pengembangan gerak pada aktivitas makan menggunakan sendok bagi anak cerebral palsy. Kata Kunci: Cerebral Palsy, Hambatan Fisik dan Gerak, Pengembangan Gerak, Pengembangan Diri Cerebral palsy children are individuals with physical and movement disorders, as well as impaired body coordination caused by damage or disturbance to the central nervous system (brain) which is permanent or permanent and is not a disease that can be cured or contagious, is non-progressive or static. Therefore, children with cerebral palsy experience obstacles in their daily activities. So the learning objectives for children with cerebral palsy are dual purpose, meaning that the educational objectives for children will be closely related to the rehabilitation aspect with the target of restoring physical function, as well as educational objectives that refer to national education objectives. Thus, learning practices at school include movement development and self-development. This research aims to see an overview of the implementation of the hand movement development program at TKLB SLBN Cihaurbeuti. The approach used in the research is descriptive qualitative. The participants in this research were teachers, parents, and children with cerebral palsy at TKLB SLBN Cihaurbeuti. The results of the research showed that the implementation of the hand movement development program for children with cerebral palsy was less than optimal. Teachers' information regarding children with cerebral palsy is still minimal, so in practice, many things are less than professional which results in less than optimal services for children. Teachers do not carry out assessments directly on children, which is the first and main thing. So this research produces a recommendation for a movement development program for eating using a spoon for children with cerebral palsy.
