Abstract
Pendahuluan: Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan salah satu tindakan dalam meningkatkan kualitas Patient Centered Care, dalam pelaksanaan tindakan Perawat kadangkala tidak memperkenalkan dirinya dan tidak menjelaskan dengan detail tentang fasilitas yang ada dan tidak memberikan informed consent ketika akan melakukan suatu tindakan pada pasien. Perlu adanya observasi untuk mengetahui terkait komunikasi terapeutik terhadap kualitas Patient Centered Care Tujuan: Mengetahui korelasi antara keterampilan komunikasi dengan Patient Centered Care. Metode Penelitian: penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan Purposive Sampling yang berjumlah 93 pasien ruang rawat inap dewaa RSU Pakuwon Sumedang. Kuesioner yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner komunikasi terapeutik dan kuesioner Patient Centered Care, yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dengan 25 responden semua butir soal dengan nilai lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka kuesioner dinyatakan valid. Hasil dan Pembahasan: terdapat korelasi positif yang lemah antara komunikasi terapeutik terhadap Patient Centered Care dengan nilai koefisien correlation 0.242. Sedangkan nilai Sig. (2- tailed) sebesar 0.020 < 0.05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Simpulan: Hasil hubungan komunikasi terapeutik terhadap kualitas Patient centered Care di RSU Pakuwon Sumedang menunjukan bahwa metode ini memiliki korelasi positif dengan kekuatan yang lemah. Introduction: Therapeutic communication is one of the actions in improving the quality of Patient Centered Care. In carrying out actions, nurses sometimes do not introduce themselves and do not explain in detail about existing facilities and do not give informed consent when carrying out an action on a patient. Observations are needed to find out how therapeutic communication relates to the quality of Patient Centered Care. Objective: To find out the correlation between communication skills and Patient Centered Care. Research method: This research uses a quantitative type of research with a descriptive correlational research design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, totaling 93 patients in the Dewaa RSU Pakuwon Sumedang inpatient room. The questionnaires used in this research are the therapeutic communication questionnaire and the Patient Centered Care questionnaire, which have been tested for validity with 25 respondents. All items with a value of less than 0.05 mean the questionnaire is declared valid. Results and Discussion: there is a weak positive correlation between therapeutic communication and Patient Centered Care with a correlation coefficient value of 0.242. Meanwhile, the Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.020 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the two variables. Conclusion: The results of the relationship between therapeutic communication and the quality of Patient Centered Care at RSU Pakuwon Sumedang show that this method has a positive correlation with weak strengths.
