    Abstract

    Kota Bekasi merupakan salah satu kota penyangga Jakarta yang mengalami peningkatan jumlah penduduk akibat urbanisasi penduduk ke kota Jakarta. Seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk, permintaan hunian pun turut meningkat. Paradigma mengenai stress di perkotaan menjadi masalah yang tak usai bagi daerah perkotaan yang tak luput dari kepadatan aktivitas, polusi, serta kebisingan. Selain itu, keterbatasan lahan di daerah perkotaan untuk hunian mengakibatkan adalanya kepadatan rumah penduduk yang menciptakan lingkungan tidak sehat. Perancangan apartemen menjadi solusi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia dengan tetap menghemat lahan. Penerapan arsitektur biofilik dengan menghadirkan unsur alam sebanyak
    banyaknya pada apartemen dapat membantu penghuni dalam mengurangi tingkat stress di perkotaan. Selain itu juga mampu memberikan kualitas udara yang sehat di sekitar lingkungan.

    Bekasi City is one of the buffer cities for Jakarta which has experienced an increase in population due to urbanization of the population into the city of Jakarta. As the population increases, demand for housing also increases. The paradigm regarding stress in urban areas is an ongoing problem for urban areas which are not immune to the density of activity, pollution and noise. Apart from that, limited land in urban areas for housing results in overcrowding in residential homes which creates an unhealthy environment. Apartment design is a solution to meet human needs while still saving land. The application of biophilic architecture by presenting as many natural elements as possible in apartments can help residents reduce stress levels in cities. Apart from that, it is also able to provide healthy air quality in the surrounding environment.
