Abstract
Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung keaktifan siswa. Keaktifan menjadi salah satu faktor yang menunjang keberhasilan pembelajaran. Siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Cijeruk umumnya belum menunjukkan partisipasi aktif baik dalam bertanya, menyampaikan pendapat, dan menyelesaikan masalah. Dalam mendukung keaktifan, diperlukan peran guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran yang efektif, salah satunya dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe team game tournament. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Game Tournament (TGT) terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa di SMAN 1 Cijeruk. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi-experiment dengan desain non-equivalent control group pada kelas X-4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel penelitian meliputi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan keaktifan belajar. Indikator keaktifan terdiri dari perhatian siswa terhadap pembelajaran, keberanian bertanya, menyampaikan pendapat, partisipasi dalam diskusi kelompok, dan penyelesaian masalah. Pengumpulan data keaktifan menggunakan angket sebelum dan setelah perlakuan. Analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis non-parametrik Mann-Whitney U. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan keaktifan siswa sebelum dan sesudah tanpa menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT pada kelas kontrol serta terdapat perbedaan keaktifan sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT pada kelas eksperimen. Kelas eksperimen menunjukkan keaktifan belajar yang lebih unggul dibandingkan kelas kontrol, hal ini terlihat dari total keaktifan belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 84.22 sementara total keaktifan kelas kontrol sebesar 77.56. Selain itu, uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.005, sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team game tournament terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Cijeruk. The learning model significantly impacts student engagement, which is crucial for successful learning. However, class X students at SMAN 1 Cijeruk generally show low participation in asking questions, sharing opinions, and problem-solving. The teacher's role is important in applying an effective learning model to increase student activeness. The learning model that can be used is the Team Game Tournament type cooperative learning model. This study evaluates its effect on student engagement at SMAN 1 Cijeruk, with class X-4 as the experimental group and class X-5 as the control group, using a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. Engagement was measured through indicators such as attention, willingness to ask questions, courage to express opinions, group discussion participation, and problem-solving ability. Data was collected via a pre- and post-treatment questionnaire and analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test. The analysis showed a difference in student activeness before and after without implementing TGT type cooperative learning model in control class and there was a difference in activeness before and after implementing TGT type cooperative learning model in experimental class. The experimental class showed higher learning activeness than the control class, seen from the total student learning activeness in the experimental class of 84.22 while the control class is 77.56. Also, the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.005, so it is concluded there is an effect of the team game tournament type cooperative learning model on student learning activeness in class X at SMAN 1 Cijeruk.
