Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar sering kali kurang optimal karena media yang digunakan cenderung monoton, sehingga peserta didik menjadi pasif dan kurang tertarik. Media interaktif seperti video animasi terbukti lebih efektif, namun memiliki kekurangan seperti komunikasi satu arah dan biaya tinggi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, peneliti menggunakan aplikasi Toontastic 3D yang mudah digunakan dan dapat menampilkan gambar jelas, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media video pembelajaran dalam aplikasi Toontastic 3D dalammateri kosakata. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif tematik dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) model 3D. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Rajadatu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, respons guru dan peserta didik serta dokumentasi. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan di SD tersebut masih menggunakan kurikulum 2013 (Kurtilas). Hasil penelitian yang di dapat dari tahap (1) define hasil analisis kebutuhan yang didapatkan hasil dalam materi kosakata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia guru hanya menggunakan media gambar saja tanpa ada huruf/ kata pada gambar tersebut sehingga kurang optimal. Pada tahap (2) desaign peneliti merancang produk media video animasi 3D berbasis aplikasi Toontastic 3D dari mulai menyusun naskah, menyusun tampilan pada video yang didasarkan oleh teori para ahli untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk yang baik. Pada tahap (3) develop yaitu pengembangan produk dari hasil validasi ahli media, ahli materi, ahli desain pembelajaran dengan dari semua validator layak digunakan dengan revisi, dan telah direvisi oleh peneliti sehingga layak untuk digunakan. Terakhir yaitu uji respons guru dan peserta didik dengan hasil respons yang baik. Hasil validasi produk dari para ahli dan respon guru serta respons wawancara peserta didik sudah baik terdapat 120 responden, 96.67% menyatakan bahwa media ini relevan untuk digunakan. Indonesian language learning in elementary schools is often less than optimal because the media used tends to be monotonous, so that students become passive and less interested. Interactive media such as animated videos have proven to be more effective, but have disadvantages such as one-way communication and high costs. To overcome this, researchers use the Toontastic 3D application which is easy to use and can display clear images, with the hope of increasing student involvement and understanding. This study aims to determine the use of learning video media in the Toontastic 3D application in vocabulary material. This type of research is a thematic qualitative approach with the 3D model Research and Development (R&D) method. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Rajadatu. Data collection techniques were carried out by collecting data through observation, interviews, teacher and student responses and documentation. Learning carried out at the elementary school still uses the 2013 curriculum (Kurtilas). The results of the study obtained from stage (1) define the results of the needs analysis obtained in the vocabulary material of Indonesian language lessons, teachers only use image media without any letters/words in the picture so that it is less than optimal. In stage (2) design, the researcher designed a 3D animation video media product based on the Toontastic 3D application from starting to compile the script, compile the appearance of the video based on expert theories to produce a good product. In stage (3) develop, namely product development from the results of validation by media experts, material experts, learning design experts with all validators, it is suitable for use with revisions, and has been revised by the researcher so that it is suitable for use. The last is the teacher and student response test with good response results. The results of product validation from experts and teacher responses and student interview responses are good, there are 120 respondents, 96.67% stated that this media is relevant for use.
