Abstract
Album Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir mengusung isu sosial yang sangat relevan dengan kehidupan Generasi Z. Baskara Putra sebagai penulis lirik mengungkapkannya menggunakan metafora-metafora berbunyi konotasi. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi realitas sosial dan tantangan Generasi Z dalam album Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir karya Hindia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan memakai analisis semiotika Roland Barthes dan sosiologi sastra Ian Watt. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi dokumen. Pada penelitian ini, hasil analisis makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos pada lirik lagu “Cincin”, “Iya… Sebentar”, dan “Masalah Masa Depan” dalam album Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir dimanfaatkan untuk menunjukkan representasi realitas sosial dan tantangan Generasi Z. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga lirik lagu, album Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir mengandung empat representasi realitas sosial, yaitu adanya praktik kohabitasi, penundaan pernikahan, perubahan pola asuh anak pada ayah, dan masyarakat yang apatis. Selain itu, terdapat representasi dari tantangan Generasi Z yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya tiga masalah yang menjadi kekhawatiran Generasi Z dalam menghadapi masa depan, yaitu adanya masalah ekonomi, masalah perubahan iklim, dan masalah kesehatan mental. Dari ketiga lirik lagu dalam album Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir, tantangan Generasi Z dalam masalah ekonomi dan perubahan iklim menempati posisi paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan masalah kesehatan mental. The album Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir carries social issues that are very relevant to the lives of Generation Z. Baskara Putra as the lyricist expresses it using connotative metaphors. Therefore, this research aims to describe the representation of social reality and the challenges of Generation Z in Hindia's Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir album. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis and Ian Watt's literary sociology. The data collection technique used in this research is document study. In this study, the results of the analysis of denotation, connotation, and mythical meanings in the lyrics of the songs “Cincin”, “Iya... Sebentar”, and “Masalah Masa Depan” in the album Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir are used to show the representation of social reality and the challenge of Generation Z. The results show that from the three song lyrics, the album Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir contains four representations of social reality, namely the practice of cohabitation, delayed marriage, changes in parenting to fathers, and an apathetic society. In addition, there are representations of Generation Z's challenges as shown by three issues that are Generation Z's concerns in facing the future, namely economic problems, climate change problems, and mental health problems. Of the three song lyrics in Lagipula Hidup Akan Berakhir album, Generation Z's challenges in economic issues and climate change occupy the highest position compared to mental health issues.
