Abstract
Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas IV pada pembelajaran matematika terutama materi bangun datar masih kurang, sehingga diperlukan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada materi bangun datar. Salah satunya yaitu dengan mengembangkan media Roda Putar Bangun Datar (ROPUBANGTAR). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian R&D, dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah keseluruhan 43 orang, yang terdiri dari 17 orang siswa kelas IV SDN Panenjoan dan 26 orang siswa kelas IV SDN Sanghiang. Teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data yaitu analisis hasil wawancara, hasil uji kelayakan media, hasil uji kepraktisan media, dan hasil uji keefektifan media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) prosedur pengembangan media ROPUBANGTAR pelaksanaannya dapat berjalan dengan baik dan efektif, 2) kelayakan media ROPUBANGTAR diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 96,8% dan ahli media sebesar 98% sehingga masuk ke dalam kategori “sangat layak”, 3) kepraktisan media ROPUBANGTAR diperoleh dari hasil angket respon guru sebesar 100%, hasil respon siswa kelas IV SDN Panenjoan sebesar 97,64% dan hasil respon siswa kelas IV SDN Sanghiang sebesar 97,01%, sehingga masuk ke dalam kategori “sangat praktis”, dan hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya dokumentasi aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran menggunakan media ROPUBANGTAR, 4) keefektifan media ROPUBANGTAR diperoleh dari hasil tes pemahaman konsep siswa, yaitu pretest dan posttest dengan nilai rata-rata pretest (44,81) dan nilai rata-rata posttest (70,76), sehingga terdapat peningkatan sebesar 25,95 setelah menggunakan media ROPUBANGTAR. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ROPUBANGTAR ini dapat dikatakan layak, praktis, efektif dan terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas IV pada materi bangun datar. The ability to understand mathematical concepts of fourth grade students in mathematics learning, especially flat geometry material, is still lacking, so learning is needed that can improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts in flat geometry material. One of them is by developing the Flat Geometry Wheel (ROPUBANGTAR) media. This study uses the R&D research method, with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students with a total of 43 people, consisting of 17 fourth grade students of SDN Panenjoan and 26 fourth grade students of SDN Sanghiang. Data collection and analysis techniques are the results of interview analysis, media feasibility test results, media practicality test results, and media effectiveness test results. The results of the study showed that: 1) the implementation of the ROPUBANGTAR media development procedure can run well and effectively, 2) the feasibility of the ROPUBANGTAR media was obtained from the results of the validation of material experts by 96.8% and media experts by 98% so that it falls into the category of "very feasible", 3) the practicality of the ROPUBANGTAR media was obtained from the results of the teacher response questionnaire of 100%, the results of the responses of grade IV students of SDN Panenjoan by 97.64% and the results of the responses of grade IV students of SDN Sanghiang by 97.01%, so that it falls into the category of "very practical", and this can be proven by the documentation of student activities during learning using ROPUBANGTAR media, 4) the effectiveness of the ROPUBANGTAR media was obtained from the results of the student's concept understanding test, namely the pretest and posttest with an average pretest score (44.81) and an average posttest score (70.76), so that there was an increase of 25.95 after using ROPUBANGTAR media. Therefore, it can be concluded that the ROPUBANGTAR media can be said to be feasible, practical, effective and proven to improve the understanding of mathematical concepts of grade IV students on flat geometry material.
