Abstract

Pulau Merak Kecil adalah pembangunan sektor wisata bahari di Kota Cilegon, dengan luas pulau 0,76 Ha2 yang terletak pada bagian perairan selat sunda kecamatan Pulomerak. Wisata ini memiliki potensi pengelolaan pulau yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi pariwisata pantai, Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 1 bulan, bulan Januari hingga Februari 2024 dengan titik lokasi 3 Stasiun. Bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian parameter wisata, menghitung daya dukung kawasan dan menentukan formulasi strategi dalam pengembangan ekowisata di Pulau Merak Kecil Kota Cilegon. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, pengukuran parameter kawasan yang terdiri dari data lingkungan, fisika dan kimia disertai Analisis data menggunakan indeks kesesuaian wisata (IKW) kategori wisata pantai, perhitungan Daya Dukung Kawasan (DDK), dan Analisis SWOT yang di peroleh dari hasil wawancara menggunakan daftar pertanyaan kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh perhitungan indeks kesesuaian wisata untuk kegiatan rekreasi pada Stasiun 1 86%, Stasiun 2 84% dan Stasiun 3 78%, dengan kategori Sangat Sesuai (S1). Perhitungan nilai Daya Dukung Kawasan Pulau Merak Kecil sekitar 106 orang/harinya, memperhatikan kenyamanan antar wisatawan dan kelestarian alam pulau. Sedangkan terdapat 15 formulasi rekomendasi strategi yang dianalisis menggunakan matriks SWOT. Kata Kunci; Pengembangan Ekowisata, Analisis kesesuaian, Daya dukung, Pulau Merak Kecil Merak Kecil Island is the development of the marine tourism sector in Cilegon City, with an island area of 0.76 Ha2 located in the waters of the Sunda Strait, Pulomerak sub-district. This tourism has the potential of island management that can be developed into beach tourism, this research was conducted for 1 month, January to February 2024 with a location point of 3 stations. Aims to analyze the suitability of tourism parameters, calculate the carrying capacity of the area and determine the strategy formulation in the development of ecotourism on Merak Kecil Island, Cilegon City. Data collection was obtained through field observations, measurement of regional parameters consisting of environmental, physical and chemical data accompanied by data analysis using the tourism suitability index (IKW) of the beach tourism category, calculation of the area's carrying capacity (DDK), and SWOT analysis obtained from interviews using a list of questionnaire questions. Based on the results obtained, the calculation of the tourism suitability index for recreational activities at Station 1 is 86%, Station 2 is 84% and Station 3 is 78%, with the category of Very Suitable (S1). Calculation of the value of the Small Peacock Island Area Support of about 106 people /day, taking into account the comfort between tourists and the natural preservation of the island.
