Dinda Nurafni, - (2024) ANALISIS DAERAH POTENSIAL PENANGKAPAN IKAN KUWE DAN INTEGRASI WEBGIS DI PERAIRAN PULAU TUNDA. S1 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
Tunda Island, located in the northern part of Banten Province, has significant potential for capture fisheries, particularly for tuna. The determination of fishing grounds is uncertain, and various issues contribute to the inefficiency and ineffectiveness of fishing activities. This research identifies problems such as uncertain fishing areas, seasonal changes, and the influence of fixed fishing gear on tuna capture. The objective of this study is to analyze potential fishing grounds for tuna and to design a WebGIS for DPPI (Potential Tuna Fishing Grounds). Oceanographic parameter analysis shows sea temperatures ranging from 21ºC to 30ºC, salinity between 31 and 34.3 ppt, dissolved oxygen ranging from 15.91 to 297.9 mmol/m³, pH between 7 and 8, and bathymetry from 5 to 80 meters. Fishing potential varies by season, with different distribution patterns of fishing vessels. VIIRS Boat Detection data and questionnaires indicate an accuracy of 70.29% with a standard error of 12.8%. The Maxent model performed well, with varying contributions of oceanographic variables according to the season. The most extensive potential fishing grounds are found during the west monsoon. The results of this study can be displayed and integrated into WebGIS to support decision-making and sustainable fisheries management.
