Abstract

Program Penguatan Profesional Pendidikan (P3K) menawarkan pengalaman berharga bagi mahasiswa pendidikan merasakan dunia pendidikan secara langsung, dengan berinteraksi langsung dengan peserta didik, memahami dinamika kelas, dan belajar langsung menangani tantangan yang ada dalam proses belajar mengajar. Minat profesi guru pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan sangat rendah berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu. Minat seseorang dapat berubah dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal maupun eksternal. Pengalaman setelah kegiatan P3K mempengaruhi minat profesi guru mahasiswa. Penelitian ini mengungkap pengaruh kegiatan P3K terhadap minat profesi guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui gambaran P3K Prodi PTB. (2) Mengetahui gambaran minat profesi guru pada mahasiswa kependidikan di Prodi PTB. (3) Mengetahui pengaruh P3K terhadap minat profesi guru pada mahasiswa kependidikan Prodi PTB angkatan 2020 FPTK UPI. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang melibatkan 71 responden dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Pada hasil analisis penelitian ini diperoleh gambaran P3K yang dilaksanakan mahasiswa PTB mendapatkan hasil dengan kriteria sangat baik dan minat profesi guru pada mahasiswa mendapatkan kriteria sangat kuat. Pada penelitian ini adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara P3K dan minat profesi guru pada mahasiswa PTB dan besarnya pengaruh P3K terhadap minat profesi guru dengan persamaan regresi penelitian yaitu Y ̂ = 14,100 + 0,836X, sehingga berdampak dalam minat profesi guru dalam peningkatan motivasi, pemahaman mendalam, serta pengembangan keterampilan. Educational Personnel Professional Development Program offers valuable experiences for education students to directly experience the world of education by interacting directly with students, understanding classroom dynamics, and learning to handle the challenges in the teaching and learning process. However, previous research has shown that interest in the teaching profession among Building Engineering Education students is very low. An individual's interest can change due to internal and external factors. The experience after participating in P3K impact the teaching profession interest of students. This study aims to reveal how much impact P3K activities have on students' interest in the teaching profession. The objectives of this study are: (1) To describe the P3K in the PTB Study Program. (2) To describe the teaching profession interest among students in the Building Engineering Education Study Program. (3) To describes of P3K's impact on the teaching profession interest among 2020 cohort students in the PTB Study Program, FPTK, UPI. The method used in this study is descriptive associative with a quantitative approach involving 71 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection in this study was conducted using questionnaires. The analysis results showed that the P3K program carried out by PTB students received results in the 'very good' category, and the interest in the teaching profession among students was categorized as 'very strong.' This study found a positive and significant influence between the P3K program and the teaching profession interest among PTB students, with the regression equation Ŷ = 14.100 + 0.836X. Therefore, the P3K program impacts students' interest in the teaching profession by enhancing motivation, deepening understanding, and developing skills.
