Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning) pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Program Keahlian (DDPK) siswa kelas X Kompetensi Keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) di SMKN 2 Tasikmalaya. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman materi oleh peserta didik akibat metode pembelajaran yang tidak efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah yang tepat dalam mengimplementasikan metode pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Kemudian mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat pemahaman materi dan keterlibatan siswa setelah mengimplementasikan Project Based Learning. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu sebanyak 36 peserta didik di kelas X DPIB 1 dan data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan angket. Analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan paired sample t-test. Hasil menunjukkan data pre-test dan post-test berdistribusi normal (nilai sig 0,200) dan homogen (nilai sig 0,279). Uji paired sample t-test mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test (nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000). Rata-rata nilai post-test (84,14) lebih tinggi dari nilai pre-test (70.27). Selanjutnya, Uji N-Gain menunjukkan hasil 0,50 berada pada rentang 0.3 ≤ g ≤ 0.7 yaitu pada kategori sedang. Hasil angket menunjukkan keterlibatan emosi siswa sebesar 97,2%, keterlibatan kognitif 91,7%, dan keterlibatan perilaku 91,7%, semuanya dalam kategori tinggi. Dari hasil penelitian, implementasi Project-Based Learning terbukti memberikan hasil positif, meskipun masih ada ruang untuk peningkatan lebih lanjut. Faktor-faktor seperti waktu, kemampuan individu, sumber daya, dan motivasi siswa turut mempengaruhi hasil penelitian ini. Selain itu, Project-Based Learning juga berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa secara emosional, kognitif, dan perilaku. ; This study examines the implementation of project-based learning in the Basics of Expertise Program (DDPK) subject of class X students of Building Information and Modeling Design (DPIB) Expertise Competence at SMKN 2 Tasikmalaya. The background of this study is the low understanding of the material by students due to ineffective learning methods. This study aims to determine the right steps in implementing the Project Based Learning learning method. Then find out how much the level of understanding of the material and student involvement is after implementing Project Based Learning. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design using a purposive sampling technique, namely 36 students in class X DPIB 1 and data were collected through tests and questionnaires. Data analysis includes normality, homogeneity, and paired sample t-test tests. The results show that the pre-test and post-test data are normally distributed (sig value 0.200) and homogeneous (sig value 0.279). The paired sample t-test indicated an increase between the pre-test and post-test scores (Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000). The average post-test score (84.14) was higher than the pre-test score (70.27). Furthermore, the N-Gain Test showed a result of 0.50 in the range of 0.3 ≤ g ≤ 0.7, which is in the moderate category. The questionnaire results showed that students' emotional involvement was 97.2%, cognitive involvement was 91.7%, and behavioral involvement was 91.7%, all in the high category. From the results of the study, the implementation of Project-Based Learning has proven to provide positive results, although there is still room for further improvement. Factors such as time, individual abilities, resources, and student motivation also influence the results of this study. In addition, Project-Based Learning also succeeded in increasing student involvement emotionally, cognitively, and behaviorally.
