Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh core training terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot perut atlet bulutangkis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh yang signifikan core training dengan latihan konvensional dan perbedaan yang signifikan antara core training dengan latihan konvensional terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kekuatan otot perut atlet bulutangkis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet bulutangkis PB. SGS PLN Bandung. Sampel berjumlah 20 orang atlet yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes sit up. Analisis statistik yang digunakan yaitu Uji Paired Sample t-test dan Uji Independent Sample t-test.. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan core training terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kekuatan otot perut atlet bulutangkis, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan latihan konvensional terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kekuatan otot perut atlet bulutangkis dan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara core training dengan latihan konvensional terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kekuatan otot perut atlet bulutangkis. This research discusses the effect of core training on increasing the abdominal muscle strength of badminton athletes. The purpose of this study was to examine the significant effect of core training with conventional training and the significant difference between core training and conventional training on increasing the endurance of abdominal muscle strength of badminton athletes. The method used in this research is experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were badminton athletes PB. SGS PLN Bandung. The sample amounted to 20 athletes who were taken using purposive sampling technique. The instrument in this study used the sit up test. Statistical analysis used is Paired Sample t-test and Independent Sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of core training on increasing the endurance of abdominal muscle strength of badminton athletes, there is a significant effect of conventional training on increasing the endurance of abdominal muscle strength of badminton athletes and there is no significant effect between core training and conventional training on increasing the endurance of abdominal muscle strength of badminton athletes.
