Abstract

Pemahaman matematik sangat penting untuk dicapai dalam pembelajaran matematik di sekolah dalam setiap jenjang pendidikan, maka diperlukan pendekatan yang sesuai dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga diperoleh kebermaknaan dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen (ekperimen satu variabel) dengan desain penelitiannya termasuk pada jenis the one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa paket C di PKBM Citra Sarana Bahasa dan Informatika (CBSI) cabang Setiabudi jln. Setiabudi 238 Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan pemahaman matematik siswa paket C pada pokok bahasan barisan dan deret setelah pembelajaran melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman matematik siswa paket C pada pokok bahasan barisan dan deret setelah pembelajaran melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses, Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematik Mathematical understanding is very important to achieve in the mathematic learning at the school in the every level of education, it is necessary that the appropriate approach in the learning process, in order to obtain significance in learning. The method used in this study are pre-experiment (experiment one variable) with the research design, including the type of the one group pre-test post-test design. The sample in this study were students in Paket C in PKBM of Language and Information Citra Sarana (CSBI) at Jln. Setiabudi branch, number 238 Bandung. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the increase in student’s mathematical understanding on the subject of Paket C sequence and series after learning through the process skill approach. Based on the result of research and discussion in is concluded that there is an increase in student’s mathematical understanding of Paket C in the subject of the sequence and series after learning through the process skill approach. Keywords: Process Skill Approach and The Ability of Mathematical Understanding.
