Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang masih rendah. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan hal tersebut yaitu penggunaan media yang kurang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan minat siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media sadar (siklus air dalam augmented reality) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pre eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan tes dan observasi. Teknik pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji n-gain, dan uji paired sample t test. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media sadar (siklus air dalam augmented reaity). Hasil uji paired sample t test menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,000. Angka tersebut menunjukkan < α = 0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga disimpulkan bahwa media sadar (siklus air dalam augmented reality) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. This research is motivated by the low critical thinking ability of students. One of the factors causing this is the use of media that is not in accordance with the needs and interests of students. Based on this, the researcher conducted a study with the aim of describing the effect of media sadar (water cycle in augmented reality) on the critical thinking ability of fifth grade elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations. Data processing techniques in this study used validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, n-gain tests, and paired sample t tests. The results of this study showed a significant difference in students' critical thinking abilities between before and after using media sadar (water cycle in augmented reality). The results of the paired sample t test showed that the significance value was 0.000. This figure shows <α = 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so it is concluded that media sadar (water cycle in augmented reality) has an effect on students' critical thinking abilities.
